Mitchy's sister-in-law, Angela Chao, was a double Harvard graduate. Her first degree was summa cum laude in 3 years.
She has been helping Mitchy do the bidding of China for decades.
As a super genius, she decided to join the Anton Yelchin (who played a super genius engineer in Star Trek reboot) club and bought a car that could kill her - and it is controlled by a computer which is easily hackable.
And did not place an Emergency Escape Safety Hammer in it.
So her Tesla put itself into Lockdown Mode, trapping her inside, and then launched itself into the pond on her ranch. Probably did not allow her to call 911, either.
Her pond apparently only had a max depth of 15 feet, but Tesla managed to completely submerge itself, and so far in that tow trucks did not have chains long enough to reach it. Imagine how a super heavy Tesla can burrow itself that far in, without getting stuck in muck near the edge of the pond.
Apparently her ranch did not have any ropes, chains, tow straps, tractors, or working horses. So "Emergency" crews waited for an hour to pull her out of the water - must have been twiddling their thumbs as well as "setting up lighting"
She died, age 51 or so.
After this demonstration of power over Life and Death of a billionaire, a few weeks later Mitchy - or his Masters - decided he should step down.

I saw a headline on RCP that Mitch's sister-in-law's death was being investigated, but I didn't bother reading it.
What a story I missed out on. That's crazy.
I probably mentioned it here a few years ago, but my brother can't drive a car because of his disability and my old man said maybe 5 years back or so that it would be great if one day he could have an automated car to get him around.
We'd just been hanging out with him all weekend and that's the same weekend he decided to show us how Apple's AI (I think it was called Ceri) responded when he cussed her out. I told my brother that he probably shouldn't do that because even though she's dumb now she was keeping a log of all that stuff.
So when my dad mentioned the self-driving car for him I said "I don't think that would be a great idea. I could see him being driven down a road somewhere and all the sudden Ceri says "Fuck me? No... Fuck you" and then she locks all the doors and drives him off a cliff like Tooncis the Cat on those old best of SNL reruns."
I figured that this was our future at the time, but only 5 years before a smart car actually murdered somebody was not on my Bingo card.

Any sensible opposition party response would have featured the Candidate - Trump. But instead, we got the disappointing Katie Britt. This decision was made months in advance, therefore this is (hopefully) the final failure of Ronna Romney.
A key, premium, unique opportunity. And Team Ronna squandered it. Who is surprised?
