If anyplace has a demographic crisis, it's Ukraine.
20 million mostly young people have left. That's half of the original population of 40 million. About a half million men (that's 500,000) have been killed or severely wounded in the war so far. The birth rate is near zero.
It will take generations for Ukraine to recover.

No dummy, I'm saying it already collapsed. It will take some time for all the effects of that to show, but it is already starting too. It's one of the reasons Putin invaded Ukraine. To steal their resources. One of which is its population. Too bad for him Russia wasn't up to the task. The invasion wound up escalating Russia's downfall.
It's why Putin is stealing children from there. You'll deny it, so what. You cannot deny it is why the civilized world put out an arrest warrant for Putin.
