European Union member states are mulling a "Plan B" to neutralize Hungary's block on some $54 billion in emergency funds for Ukraine, as Kyiv enters what is expected to be a punishing and dangerous second winter of full-scale war with Russia.
"Work on potential alternatives" to the stalled funding plan is under way, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, after Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered on his threat to block the latest tranche of funds for Kyiv at last week's two-day summit in Brussels.

Ukrainian Bombers Just Blew Up Another Russian Warship. ‘Russia’s Fleet Is Getting Smaller And Smaller!’
Late Christmas Day or early Tuesday, Ukrainian air force bombers struck, and apparently destroyed, the Russian Black Sea Fleet landing ship Novocherkassk in the port of Feodosia in southeastern Crimea.
It’s the seventh large warship the Ukrainians have sunk since Russia widened its war on Ukraine in February 2022.

Ukraine strikes annexed Crimea, destroys Russian command center
Ukrainian forces blasted a Russian command center in occupied Crimea, according to reports Saturday.
The Ukrainian Air Force said it hit and destroyed the Saki air field in western Crimea, the region illegally occupied by Russia in 2014.
“The Ukrainian Air Force is carrying out methodical work aimed at destroying the occupiers’ control system in Crimea,” said Ukraine government advisor Anton Gerashchenko in a post on X Saturday.

Larry Johnson and others visited Moscow recently and posted videos, and in the videos there was no shortage of anything anywhere. Lots of well fed and well dressed Christmas shoppers tho. No homeless in the streets, no graffiti, but Christmas deocrations and public displays everywhere
So, since Russia has been sanctioned to hell and back and seems to be doing great, why would this happen?
