Nuclear sharing is a concept in NATO's policy of nuclear deterrence, which involves member countries without nuclear weapons of their own in the planning for the use of nuclear weapons by NATO. In particular, it provides for the armed forces of those countries to be involved in 'delivering' nuclear weapons in the event of their use.
As part of nuclear sharing, the participating countries ... maintain technical equipment (e.g., nuclear-capable airplanes) required for the use of nuclear weapons, and store nuclear weapons on their territory. In case of war, the United States told NATO allies the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) would no longer be controlling.[1]
Weapons provided for nuclear sharing (2015)
Country Base Estimated Bombs
Belgium Kleine Brogel 10~20
Germany Büchel =20
Italy Aviano 50
Italy Ghedi 20~40
Netherlands Volkel 10~20
Turkey Incirlik 50~90
5 nations 6 bases 160~240
Those countries might not have their OWN nuclear weapons programs and their OWN nuclear bombs, but they certainly have ours!
Europe is NOT a nuclear-weapons-free zone vis a vis Russia.

When we last heard this story - Hillary Clinton's presidential loss didn't have a bad effect on the Clinton Foundation, due to withdrawal of Saudi Arabia's generous donations.
But the Foundation did record millions in losses in 2017 and 2018. Still, I'm sure there was no quid pro quo.

Clinton Foundation Files $16.8 MILLION Loss
Newly released tax records show that the foundation reported a loss of almost $17 million in 2018, to add to the net loss of $16.1 million the previous year in 2017.
The numbers don’t lie.
Total revenue reported for 2018 was just $30.7 million, less than a tenth of what was being pulled in While Hillary was Secretary of State.
Only $24.2 million was posted in grants and contributions, which constitutes a record low for the “charity.” Expenses amounted to $47.5 million, hence a loss of $16.8 million.
In 2009, the Clinton Foundation hauled in $249 million, and in the four years that followed, another $392.2 million in revenue poured in. In her last three years in office, 2014-16, the foundation raised a whopping $344.4 million.

I'm necroposting because I asked myself in the 'Who Is Running In 2020?' http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?bid=18&tid=62903&p=11 thread what it was that people so disliked about Hillary.
First of all here's my answer - I disliked her because she was a proven war-monger who was jonesing for a war with Russia, our nuclear equal. Before the 2016 general election I posted a number of times that my ONE priority in voting for president was voting for someone who wouldn't be spoiling for a nuclear fight with Russia. But in addition to that, personally, I disliked here because she was bought-and-paid-for, shifty as hell, entitled, and dismissive of us peons.
But that's just me.
Why did Hillary have historic net negative ratings?
Here are some opinions:

#1) Her whole campaign could have been boiled down to “Vote for me because I’m a woman”
#2) Hillary’s entire claim to fame is being married to Bill
#3) She’s hopelessly corrupt
#4) She felt entitled to be President because of her last name
#5) She’s simply not a very nice person

Clinton remains a pariah among a large portion of the population: widely disparaged by pundits, blamed by some on the left wing of her party for Trump’s victory, despised by Republicans and many independents.
the role of the Russian government in crippling her campaign
Some of the answer is surely rooted in gender ... it’s unsurprising that many of the pundits quickest to share their latest hot take about Clinton’s failure as a candidate (or human being) are men
For more than two years, Republicans did more than demonize her—they criminalized her ... Benghazi ... personal email server

- many on the right saw her as unacceptably liberal. She was the poster child for a certain kind of unapologetic feminism. You can see it here in her “could have stayed home and baked cookies” statement
- There were all kinds of right wing conspiracy theories against the Clintons in the 90s. When people are subjected to such a barrage of negativity, a perception that some of it must have been deserved sets in. The barrage of conspiracy theories against Hillary basically never stopped. It’s impossible to be an American Conservative and not have absorbed at least some of it.
- She is a pragmatist. If she supports gay rights but the rest of the country doesn’t support it, she’ll support advancing gay rights as far as politically feasible. She’s not going to campaign on idealism that she has no chance of enacting into policy. Some people view that as exceedingly calculating and untrustworthy.
- She is very pro-military intervention. A lot of people on the left dislike that.
- She is too comfortable with the big Banks. A lot of liberals, especially those of my generation, really, really, really don’t like that.

Hey Signym. Back when you started
this thread, we told you it would be Trump or Putin
who was most likely to start a war. Even a nuclear war.
Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?

My god SIG. Is there anything about you that isn't doom and gloom? Is there anything about you that isn't hypocritical? voicing outrage about the behavior of Hillary Clinton while praising people like Putin and his Iranian allies.
Is there any part of you that isn't a warped and sick bitch? I am about finished with my BSW and I currently work in the mental health field. Trust me, you are one sick bitch.

I was looking at her speech more indirectly. It seems to me that she wants to continue provoking Russia, under the assumption that Russia won't respond directly militarily, especially not with nuclear weapons. She's going to presume on Putin having endless restraint, though he's already said he'll use nuclear weapons if threatened. She seems like she'll keep poking the Russian (nuclear) bear with no goal or stopping point.
Always wrong kiki and signym.

I think the word you're searching for is "plutocrat".
The USA is an oligarchy and there's no getting around that fact. It's the wealthy who determine policy, not the people. And Hillary has her nose up the butts of the wealthiest of the (international wealthy) like Goldman Sachs. She's so much in the pocket of international capital, she doesn't need the (national) capitalists, like the Koch brothers, who are mere dirt under her fingernails.

Prosecutor On Special Counsel Jack Smith's Team Shut Down FBI Investigation Into Clinton Foundation In 2016
A top prosecutor on Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team recommended that the FBI shut down an investigation into the Clinton Foundation in 2016, despite ample evidence of suspicious activity related to hundreds of thousands of dollars in foreign transactions, Fox News reported.
In his May 2023 report on the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, Special Counsel John Durham identified Ray Hulser, the former chief of the Department of Justice’s Public Integrity Section (PIN), as the official who “declined prosecution” of the Clinton Foundation. Hulser now serves on Smith’s team currently prosecuting former President Donald Trump for alleged crimes related to January 6.
According to Durham’s report, in late 2014, the FBI began investigating a “well-placed” confidential source’s claims that two foreign governments had attempted to make illegal donations to buy influence with Hillary ahead of her presidential campaign.
By early 2016, three different FBI field offices, in Washington, D.C., Little Rock, Arkansas, and New York, had opened investigations into the Clinton Foundation for “possible criminal activity,” but Hulser shut them down, claiming there was “insufficient predication” for opening the investigations. He reportedly declined to prosecute during a meeting on February 1, 2016.
An individual present for the meeting told Durham that the Justice Department’s reaction to the Clinton Foundation briefing was “hostile.”
According to Durham’s report, the investigation out of Washington was opened as a “preliminary investigation, because the case agent wanted to determine if he could develop additional information to corroborate allegations in a recently-published book, ‘Clinton Cash’ by Peter Schweizer, before seeking to convert the matter to a full investigation.”
Durham asked Hulser about his decision to shut down the Clinton Foundation probes as part of his investigation. Hulser told Durham that he thought the “FBI briefing was poorly presented and that there was insufficient predication for at least one of the investigations due to its reliance on allegations contained in a book.”
However, the New York and Little Rock investigations included predication “based on source reporting that identified foreign governments that had made, or offered to make, contributions to the Foundation in exchange for favorable or preferential treatment from Clinton,” according to the special counsel’s report.
