Hello Desert Browncoats!

I've made reservations for the back room at Bill Johnson's Big Apple restaurant (yummy food!).

Date: Saturday, March 19th
Time: 6pm

Place: I picked the "Original" location because it's the most centrally located. Here's a map:

Yay! I'm thinking that you, me, and Oog can caravan. She's down near Metro Center and I'm pretty near you. Your car or mine, either way is fine with me.

No specific itinerary. Right now all I can think of is FOOD! I work on kind of a primal level. :)

But if Ha(s)ufel comes, hopefully he'll regale us with tales of meeting the Cap'n and Adam at the Pasadena event that he's going to... well, right at this moment, actually!

Also, if you and Oog are up to it, we can wander around the Chinese cultural center that's nearby. I like that place...

I'm also hoping to have my copy of "BWAH!" printed up by then (the game modified from "BANG!" by I-can't-remember-who on this board).

Otherwise, we'll just have to chat and be charming to one another. :)

I can regale. Once I was laconic.

I'll bring my 'puter again, and I thought it would be interesting to compare some scenes from the original Serenity pilot with the DVD version. The original did not have Greg Edmondson's music, and that's really made me appreciate how much impact Greg's music had.

Also, maybe it's time for a trivia challenge. Everyone bring their questions. We could try some variants. Maybe a Jeopardy type thing - give the answer and try to guess the question. Like "Bester's prairie harpy".

A friend of mine took me with her in November to the Chinese Cultural Center but would love to go again! That place is so neat!! They have a little shop that sells Chinese stuff, too. Nothing that says "Serenity" in Chinese, unfortunately. But who knows what new stuff they got in since then.

*Squee* I'm so excited!!! I'm jotting the date/time down on my calendar and heading off to my online calendar to set a reminder!!

Yup. All our pets have middle names. Her full name is Zoe Inara

One of our cats is named after another show I like that got cancelled too. LOL
