I also have an LG 6000 and i recently have been dropping lots of ringtones on it. There is a way of getting ringtones without using get it now which i use. If you send i Pix message to your email, and then respond back to your phone with the midi file saved as an attachment, you will recieve it on your phone. Just save the sound and it will go into your "my media" folder. A huge thanks for whoever made this midi file! It goes well with my buffy and angel ringtones. Firefly rocks and cant wait for serenity!!
I swell to think of you in me....And I see that you do too.

I bought a USB cable from Radio Shack and used BitPim to upload the renamed MP3.
BitPim here:

I was able to get the firefly ringtone on my cell phone. I uploaded it to this site via my pc, then used my cell phone to browse to the site, searched for it, then downloaded and set it as my ringtone. When I tried it with a friend's phone, she could get to the site with her cell phone, listen to it, but not save it?? Very frustrating for her (and believe me, we investigated every option and feature on her phone - no luck).
http://svendsen-net.dk/ (click on Wap Items in the left hand corner, click on Display Midi Files, then TV Shows, and scroll through to the Fs for Firefly - it's a lot easier on the cell phone)
ETA: It's tough for me to answer the phone too 'cause I like listening to it when it rings.

Is there no way to get it onto your phone if it can't browse the web?

Can you get emails on your phone?? Some people can attach the ringtone file to an email and mail it to their phone and save it that way.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think so :-(
I've now gotten webaccess on my phone just to get this tune - the lengths you'll go to...
How about a nice Firefly picture to go with the tune? Anyone has a good place to get those?

Funny you should ask... I also up loaded a few Firefly images to that same site. Check in the images section under the Miscellaneous category. You have to go through some not so nice pics to get to it, so be prepared.

Using your phone, you can get to the images the same way as the ringtones.
