Some names that came up in this thread a bit...Shield, Babylon-5, Farscpae, the Expanse, Deadwood, Fringe, Weeds, Red Dwarf, Dr Who, Battlestar Galactica, Dark Matter
There is debate about 'Game of Thrones' I watched some of the show and already read some of the books so I kind of know how morbid and back stabbing and degenerate the series would go. It was one of those tv events everyone wanted you to watch, there is still debate if the show is 'great' or not, the early episodes I seen were good but I don't think I will finish the show. Therre is debate in this thread if comicbook shows are good or not....maybe...but there could be over saturation
Hollywood Tv and movies seem dead now and the writers strike arrived and actors strikes arrives
The Game of Thrones series finished in 2019
Upcoming
maybe
Song of the Bandits - Korean series

My old man was one of the people telling me I needed to watch Game of Thrones.
After the last season came out though, he told me not to waste my time.
It's funny you mention that because I just watched this video yesterday:
I'd already been watching Ryan George videos for quite a while before he originally made that one (4 years ago now). It's interesting hearing him say that he was looking for a way to end his Pitch Meeting series at the time, but to this day the Game of Thrones Season 8 Pitch Meeting video is his highest watched video by far and brought him a ton more subscribers after it went viral so he's still doing them today.

I might try Cobra Kai, I think if I binge watch it would be fun but dumb a show that doesn't take itself to serious or go up its own ass like 'Game of Thrones' , Breaking Bad, Dexter, Handmaid's Tale, Lost, Dr Who remakes and others.
Other than Flix Patrol?

Flix Patrol is still one of the better 'buzz' sites it has so much info, you can see what people were watching 1 month ago in New Zeland or look around and see other top 10 and regions or what Finland watched last year

the Game Of Thrones thing perhaps took itself too serious
Police Squad was funny
Offensive Shows?
if you don't have the time to Binge Watch all of the trash like Jerry Springer 'Summer Heights High' or toons like FamilyGuy or South Park
Heil Honey I'm Home looks like peak British insanity, go back to the Beavis and Butt-Head yeasra and then imagine Mel Brooks was hired to make a weird Springtime for Hitler show...
very odd
they self banned themselves and I think there is only one episode available
the Melting Pot from the 70s even more controversial?

'A o S' I read it had some very good seasons and some not so good seasons. I assume Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. died with a quiet whimper during Covid

‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ Star Lily Gladstone Calls ‘Yellowstone’s’ Depiction of the American West ‘Delusional’ and ‘Deplorable’
a partisan soap opera where its not really a parody butthe lead character operate consequence free, Son pulls up in brand new Huge Expensive Truck, son pulls up in brand new Land Rover. Father stars jetting and flying around, flies in on helicopter.
The ranch is running out of money,
they are offered 400 Million or Half a Billion, don't take it and an endless violnet degenerate soap opera continues, a bit like Murder She Wrote but with better acting and More Gore. There is another frontier tv show, the English a revisionist western television miniseries produced by the BBC and Amazon Prime, written and directed by Hugo Blick, also 1883 an American Western drama television miniseries created by Taylor Sheridan, post-Civil war generation of the Dutton family as they leave Tennessee, journey to Fort Worth, Texas, and join a wagon train.

Costner talked about his exit from the TV show Yellowstone during a divorce court, he saysmight sue the show's producers. Costner offered money for future seasons but didn't agree with the creative direction and scheduling, Costner's departure from the show might be complicated by more ongoing divorce proceedings.

They brought back Scott Pilgrim as an anime Japanese style cartoon show and 'Frasier' maybe too big to binge, there is a show 'Obliterated' about guys who party hard after wiping out terrorists and as they party they find out they have been out smarted, so they have to get back together while being stoned, drunk, hung over or still 'high' seems like a mix of Cobra Kai meets Die Hard but set in Las Vegas, theer is a lot od dumb looking reality tv stuff
looks like the writers strike is killing tv in 2023 to 2024.
“JFK: One Day in America” is another show or movie upcoming
Fargo TV series is probably worth a watch from reviews I read, 5 seasons spread out over 10 years from 2014-2023
Scifi seems to be kind of dead but they are making video games into tv shows and movies
For All Mankind...an Alt timeline show, Apple TV+ and Sony Pictures Television
has a critics score of

I might stay with South Korean or German shows, the joint US-Japan style animation production 'Castlevania' might be worth continuing to watch.
