Psychology and linguistics can help us to understand why Donald Trump's followers will likely not be abandoning him.

No surprise Trumps followers will not abandon him. No surprise at all. Have you heard any of them interviewed? They all have a screw loose and show no desire to expand their knowledge of the facts. Look at Jack, look at signym. Like I said, a screw loose.

They even eat their own. Ray Epps, a Trump supporter present for the January 6 Capitol riot who later became the subject and victim of various conspiracy theories is suing Fox News for defamation.

“Just as Fox had focused on voting machine companies when falsely claiming a rigged election, Fox knew it needed a scapegoat for January 6th. It settled on Ray Epps and began promoting the lie that Epps was a federal agent who incited the attack on the Capitol,” reads the lawsuit filed by Epps’s attorneys.

Epps lost everything. His home, his business and even had to leave the state. That said, to me that's poetic justice.

I have been observing Trump followers' behavior since 1962, before there was a Trump to follow. The grandfathers of today's Trumptards, their sons, and their grandsons who are the ones actually voting for Trump all behave the same way, decade after decade. To make it blunt, these guys drank too much, smoked too much, ate too much, worked too little, and cheated on their wives too often. The peculiar weakness that separates these Trump people from ordinary people is their erratic understanding (sometimes they get it, but soon they forget) of the connection between their rotten behavior and their bad results in life. They will blame somebody far away in D.C. rather than blame themselves for their crappy lives. Trump and I know this very well about his kind of followers.

The Best Way to Find Out If Someone Is a Trump Voter? Ask Them What They Think About Manhood. Republicans have been increasingly explicit about claiming the mantle of the manlier party for themselves. It turns out ideas about gender and masculinity can be reliable indicators of how people vote by party and by candidate.

“If you think about who Republicans are supporting in the primary, they’re supporting Trump,” Matthews said. But apparently, she noted, they don’t like everything about him: “They like his policies and they like what he stands for, but they don’t like his version of a masculine male.”

Democrats have not successfully deployed a different image of masculinity that could be very powerful for them and could really undercut Trump.

These new charges are about trying to interfere with an election. In other words, attempted coup. It's hard being right all the time Jack. I can't take anymore of this winning.
