On Sunday 2005 January 16, a dozen & a half of us watched Shindig with commentary, and Outa Gas with commentary. A rousin' time wuz had by all. There were a coupla new faces, or @least new names, which I've added to my Firefly list. They'll be back.
Up for next Sunday is War Stories commentary and Objects In Space commentary (FFf.n order). Hope to see y'all there.

On Tuesday 2005 January 18, I came in early. Said Hey to Alan (who was also early, as usual), & eboneezer (who hasn't been to a VS since before the holidays). I'll leave it to someone else to describe, 'cause I gotta go now -- still a quarter hour afore we're scheduled to start.

We've moved the start times of both VSs up one hour, so Sunday starts 'round noon Mountain time.

i attempted to join a firefly room and there was an alantfrancis in there. did i do it right, is that a familiar name to the shindigs?
Never heard of him. Must be a mistake.
Actually it was Alan who first suggested we move the start times up one hour. Eboneezer & Mal-licious, who first suggested these VSs, both live in the USA (Ebo in Pacific time). Alan, who lives in Britain, pointed out that the original Sunday start time left him running out of gas before the VS does (we often run four hours on Sundays), and Tuesdays were simply not possible.

On Sunday 2005 January 23, we watched War Stories with commentary & Objects In Space with commentary (FFf.n order). At this long a remove, I don't remember how many folks were watching, but we seemed to have more than a dozen @the VS.

On Sunday 2005 January 30, the regulars were expecting to see Jack back (Jack's back). We were disappointed. Where is he?
Someone (Cimborn, I think) introduced a new convert to the VS. We let the rookie choose the ep, & he picked Our Mrs Reynolds. There was a good crowd for the VS.
There were Firefly chats on Tuesdays, January 25 and February 1, but as usual, there was no more than a cursory question as to whether we'd watch any Firefly. Tuesdays are our General Discussions chat.

Jack, I've been leaving it to you to start the new thread, but you've been gone for four weeks. Anyway, I just started it. Let's continue this in the new, faster loading, Virtual Shindigs now Once or Twice a Week (Sun, often Tues)
