Bruce's prediction for the weekend was a bit more of a modest lost at only 57% for $41,300,00, where publications yesterday morning were predicting a drop to only $33 Million.
I'm going to hold off on a prediction who was right there. Everybody who wanted to see it has already seen it. Weekend 2 will be repeat views. How badly do they want The Message to succeed?
Will they buy a 2nd ticket this weekend or opt to watch the other woke trash flick that comes out today starring some black dude impersonating Spider-Man and has a flag up in Gwen's room that says "PROTECT TRANS KIDS", and a #BLM pin on the back of black not-Spider-Man's backpack.

69% drop on its 2nd Friday. The Little Mermaid is toast.
Looks like a lot more people went to see black-not-Spider-Man than they expected. It was predicted to make about $100 Million for its opening weekend, but it's already made more than half of that just on Friday night alone.

Wrong.
First off, it's the 5th highest. Top Gun: Maverick is the HIGHEST.
Ticket prices are also 30% more expensive than they were before the Democrat's Plandemic and the horrible Biden* administration and the financial pain they've inflicted on the world.
There was a 60% drop on weekend 2 domestically, and nobody is even watching it internationally.

They expected another billion dollar live-action hit on their hands and they're not even going to make $500 Million when its out of theaters. They will lose at least $100 Million on this woke turd of a movie, if not $200 or $300 Million.

Revenue from the division at Disney that makes movies, sells DVD and Blu-ray is only 11% of Disney's total revenue. What percent of Operating Income is that division? Zero. 0.0%, NOTHING. The movies make NO OPERATING INCOME for Disney. And yet Disney continues on.

I'm not going to reply to your dumbassery again in detail, since you've already brought that up and I've already refuted it other than to say that Disney is failing on ALL fronts right now, including and most importantly at its theme parks.
When you're that big, you can afford to lose in one area by sacrificing it to your agenda, but only for so long before you've damaged your entire brand.
Disney is finding out the hard way what we all were telling them for years.
