i have a Word of the Day desk calender with big, obscure words to try and enlarge your vocabulary, and the word for Sunday is "Sanguine"
ringing any bells?
definition: 1:ruddy 2: cheerful, hopeful 3: confident, optimistic
and on the back it says "the word sanguine derives from sanguineus, latin for blood or bloody.
Zoe "you sanguine about the kind of reception were apt to recive on an alliance ship captain?"
Mal "absolutely..whats sanguine mean?"
Zoe "Sanguine. Hopeful. Plus, point of interest: it also means bloody"
Mal: "well that pretty much covers all the options, dont it?"

who says Firefly isnt educational?

"I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you"

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "
