I thought they were the same guy, and that Siddig had just changed his name.......again!
But they'r not the same guy, from what I can tell, they'r not even related.
Any thoughts?

I had the exact same thought.

They even have some similar mannerisms, plus that weird accent. A bit of a shame that he felt obliged to Westernise his name but I suppose it was better he did it while Star Trek was still on the air.

Wesley always reminded me of the good Dr. Bashir, too. It's the whole, very British, face-chiseled-from-marble aspect to them.

Hey, they seem to do okay with the ladies, though. So good for them.
