Ran the kiddo to urgent care for strep and viral panel swabs. She's our canary in a coal mine, bc whatever she has, we have too.

Oh yeah... you want to catch Strep right away. Hope it's not too bad for ya'all. :(
We made it through the storms here. This time for us, much ado about nothing, really. We had some huge lightning and some thunder and a bit of wind, but the rain was a lot less than they said it would be. Looks like the heavy stuff went north of us this time and missed us by at least 50 miles.

All of the tests came back negative, so we don't have whatever serious illnesses in their panel (They mentioned strep and RSV as part of it.)

Oh good. Strep SUCKS.
Never had it until I was around 23, but I have had it twice since, about 8 years apart each time. No bueno.

Off to mah jong tomorrow then the post office. Have to get something in the mail as I was thinking I could do it Friday but then I remembered it is Good Friday and there won't be much open.
Then after Easter, I have to call and make an appointment for my mammogram. Oh joy.

Got my partial back yesterday. Taking the good news with the bad. With some finagling it actually does fit, and not only that it's SUPER tight like I want it to be. It doesn't move at all when I get it in there.
The only thing is that it's too tight. I'm hoping that after a few days my mouth adjusts to accept it without it being slightly painful (only when I first put it in and right after I take it out for about a minute each). I have a tentative appointment next week for an adjustment, but I'm really hoping I don't need one because this is pretty much perfect right now and I don't want her hacking off too much with the dremmel.
In other news, I'm not going to celebrate just yet, but I do believe that I made a MAJOR breakthrough this morning on the Dread Project.

Back from mah jong in the rain. On the flipside thought I did get first place this morning. I had one really decent hand with 7 doubles in it, Winds and Dragons.
Got to the post office too.
