Well, remember that thought, bc up until a few months before it happened, nobody had a reason to invade Iraq, Grenada, and Panama or destroy Libya and Yugoslavia either

But if our government wants to, they'll come up with SOME excuse for war with China. Freedom of navigation? Save Taiwan? I don't know what, but something.

Your ability to make shit up to explain away facts, or justify current bad behaviors is what a troll does. Congratulations, you are a troll. Don't worry, we've always known.

Did I misunderstand your post? Did you not just post that you COULDN'T see a reason to go to war with China?
Well, neither can I.
I don't condone bad behavior. However they threaten us, whether it's a cyber security issue or corruption of American officials or business leaders, we should stop it. But unless they pose a MILITARY threat to us (not Taiwan. Taiwan in not the USA, it's part of China) I don't see a reason for military provocation on our part.

Don't attribute real intelligence to this. Ted is ChatGPT's outdated trash code.

The only reason he doesn't see a reason to go to war with China is because MSNBC hasn't given him a reason.

Why Australia Wants Virginia-Class Attack Submarines (Think China)

Australia Has Long Been a Reliable US Ally
Since the conclusion of World War II, America has pursued a forward posture in the Pacific. It maintains a string of bases around the region, supporting those with alliances with like-minded states. Previously, the US was far more retrenched, with only Guam and the Philippines as major US commitments west of Hawaii. The expansion of Soviet power in far east and the communist takeover of China in the 1940s changed all that. The US would stay in Japan, South Korea and elsewhere to help contain these powers. Australia was a part of that alliance network.

Siberia is up for grabs as Putin becomes China's vassal

Xi Jinping's vision does not include a relationship with Russia as a peer, and never will.

Russia may find itself receiving an offer from China it cannot refuse

President Xi Jinping is an unlikely sort of peacemaker. His government has been responsible for unspeakable cruelties against the Muslim Uyghur people in Xinjiang region, the suppression of protest, the rule of law and democracy in Hong Kong, and the routine abuse of human rights across the entire people’s republic.

They can also see, on the horizon, hundreds of Leopard 2 tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles, modern fighter jets and other formidable weaponry on their way to decimate any Russian forces they encounter, and, quite plausibly, a complete Russian rout.

Some sort of uneasy ceasefire, complemented by some restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity, would seem to be China’s preferred medium-term outcome. Mr Putin might find himself being made an offer by the president of China that Russia cannot refuse.
