okay, this may have been asked before, but in all the joss whedon shows, which ONE character annoys you the most? your reason can be anything. hate the actor/actress, stupid plot line, completely irrelevant character, anything. just try and pick someone that is a little more prevalent, not some random person who did not have any lines or anything.

my choice? i never liked knox from angel. he bugged me. i just hated the character and not because he turned out to be a bad guy. he was just annoying with the bumbling speech and the rumpled look and the lab coat.

Warren Mears from BtVS. Actually, I thought the actor did a great job portraying a completely evil nerd. But of all the vampires, monsters, demons, etc. to ever appear on the show, I thought that Warren, an ordinary human (supposedly with a soul), was the most evil. When Willow caught him in the woods and he showed no remorse at all - except feigned remorse to try a save his own ass - and she flayed him alive, I cheered. I had never before been so happy to see the bad guy get his just reward.

Apathy on the Rise. No One Cares.

I've always been irritated by Maggie Walsh.

Dr. Frankenstein had the potential to be an excellent 'uber evil' but instead the lamest of UE's, Adam, killed her and bored me for 1/2 of a season.

I'd rather have seen Walsh rise to her evil potential and rain terror on Sunnydale.

I never did take to the Groosalug. Mark Lutz brought some appreciated humor to the part, but overall, I found him very bland.

I'd have to go with "Evil" Cordy from season 4 of Angel. She never played evil convincingly at all, especially with the constant whispering of every line. Not only that, but it took away from what was once an incredibly beloved character. Thank goodness the writers returned Cordy to her old self in the last season, or it would have been a sad end for one of the longest-running characters in the Buffyverse.

When Wesley was on BTVS...he was written to be hated and it worked for me. :)
Of course when he went to Angel he quickly became one of my fav's.

The worst for me was the slayer in season 2 that was called when Buffy died at the end of season 1. She had that horrible accent and I know she is a famous singer now but she was painful to watch as an actress. I was actually relieved when they killed her off...and the replacement was, of course, Faith who was great.

And..oh yeah..all the 'potentials' in S7.

Kendra? She wasn't that bad, just that stupid accent was awful.

Riley. He just bugs me, not so much in S4, but when he comes back.

Keep shiny!

Hands down, the most annoying Whedoverse character is/was Dawn. Excruciatingly irritating, always whining, everything always about her, everybody always persecuting her...

... I'm not a violent person by nature, but there were times I wanted to grab Mr. Pointy and drive it through that annoying little wench's irritating skull, gouge out her exasperating brain matter and smear it on the wall...

Connor wasn't all too wonderful, either. Too bad they never got introduced to each other, maybe they would've eloped and ran away, or killed each other quickly...

She was too darn cute for that. I liked her a tad more during season 7 too...her and Xander were kinda the non-super hero club.
