The more distant cause of the filing is when AJ was deplatformed by Google. IMHO. (There may have been other platforms that were involved, IDK. I don't follow AJ that closely.) That prolly dried up his revenue stream, otherwise he could have managed the lawsuits.
AJ always skates on thin ice. MANY times he's right. But then he sprinkles his commentaries with woo-woo PirateNews-worthy items... maybe he just has so much content that he needs to put out... and it gets him in trouble.

I would have been prone to calling his Sandy Hook stuff bullshit just like his Niberoo insanity and CERN opening up portals to hell for Hillary's demons to come pouring in, but when everybody de-platformed him and cut out his tongue I'm going to say that there is a far greater chance that Sandy Hook was a hoax than wasn't one. And it's not too hard to imagine a scenario where this is possible after living through two years of Covid Mass Psychosis and then watching everybody fucking forget that it even happened.
There are far better ways of dealing with opinions you don't like than censorship.

Musk has too much to deal with right now, and if it's going to be between putting Trump back on or Jones, it's going to be Trump. There's a lot of shit that Elon's trying to put back into the horse, and until Jones gets his shit together and either wins that appeal or lets the insurance company pay over a billion dollars (yes, he's insured and won't pay either way), Musk isn't likely to put him back on.
Babylon Bee got their account reinstated, and LibsOfTikTok should be breathing a huge sigh of relief right now.
