SIX, took a listen to "Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO and I'm glad that I've never come across it before. I've heard Beatles songs along the same lines and I'd rather listen to the Beatles to tell the truth.

Yeah. I don't know why, but I really like that song. I can't remember if I mentioned it here, but when I first heard it I thought it was a Beatles song too. My old man wrote me back about a week after I'd sent it to him and he told me that he knew some other ELO songs and liked them but never heard this one and now it was his favorite ELO. He also mentioned how it sounded like the Beatles, I believe he said during their Sgt. Pepper era.
I don't know why I like it so much. It's usually not my thing at all. I'm a Beatles fan myself, but I like their "weird" stuff like Strawberry Fields Forever and The Walrus way more than their earlier "happy" stuff.
It should be said that "Mr. Blue Sky" was recently rated as the "Happiest Song In the World", and it was based on Science.

I can't argue with Our House. I've loved that one since I was a little kid and first started listening to the radio. Wham's song is a guilty pleasure of mine too.
I never cared much for "I'll Be There For You", but I'll bet in a parallel dimension where they didn't use that as the theme song for Friends that the show wouldn't have been the mega-hit that streaming services still pay hundreds of millions of dollars to secure the exclusive streaming rights to this day.
I wonder if the Cheers theme song made its way on there. Hard for me to come up with a better theme song than that on the fly, IMO.
