The President of G4 (a woman with a dude's name) was just fired from G4, and instead of replacing her they had one of the lower level people take on her responsibilities (which one would assume didn't include destroying the channel).
The channel was getting about half a million views per day earlier in the year when they rebooted the old show and saw a steep decline after they let Frosk do her man-hate rant, and then doubled down on their fan hate on Twitter, with one of the dudes (I think his name was Adam) being especially crazy about it. Looking at his post history he's said things like his family members who were Trump voters should die.
Once they figured out that they made a huge mistake, they did a live stream with Twitch/YouTube whore Amoranth in a micro-bikini in a ball pit, with one or two of the non-Frosk girls on the show (who are also nowhere near as attractive as the original female hosts were) allowed themselves to be objectified because Amoranth was getting all the attention. People tuned in for that, but didn't tune back in for anything else G4 does.
They get a couple thousand views per day now.
They still have nearly 500k subscribers even though they've lost a lot, but their live streams struggle to bring in 200 active viewers at a time these days.

Oh... and an update to this too if you haven't heard...
In the last two weeks, about 30 more employees were laid off from G4. The company waited until they showed up to work to blindside them with the news (sounds familiar). At least they did get a very generous 16 week to half-year severance package. (doesn't sound familiar).
Dumb shit Frosk posts the next day on Twitter a meme with a frog wearing a crown and smoking a cigarette with shades on that says "I SURVIVED" with the sentence "Let's play some games, yo."
Frosk was fired from G4 several days later.
It looks like G4 is officially dead now.
