Thursday’s ruling is expected to be the last by the tribunal, which brought to justice just five senior Khmer Rouge leaders – including one who died during proceedings and another who was ruled unfit to stand trial – at a cost of more than $330 million.
The Cambodian crime was mass murder, but the system couldn't come to judgment without discussing everything almost endlessly for decades. What is the connection to Trump? Sad to say, but all over the world there are lawyers and judges who have the same attitude toward what the word "justice" means. It means "slow". The courts looking at Trump's crimes, which are cheating on taxes and election fraud and obstruction of justice and generalized incompetency, will take centuries to arrive at a decision as if there is no need to finish before the defendant, Trump, dies of old age.
