Never going to happen anyhow.
Not in our lifetime.
You won't even see a single human being land on Mars before you die.
Meanwhile, how's that hyperloop coming?

Quote:In the TV show, For All Mankind, three ships in 1992 are heading for Mars. Season 4 will be about what happens after they land. If mankind, which has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, had steel sooner rather than only in the last 2,500 years, mankind would already have reached past Mars and gone to the stars long, long ago. Luckily, something finally changed to make human progress possible, slow as it is. Maybe the something was a few humans stopped believing Gods or Kings or Luck would take care of the future and decided to take care of it themselves rather than live the same as their long dead ancestors.

What does that have to do with anything?
You and I will never see man step foot on Mars.

Quote:6ix, your kind won't get very far, even if individuals lived for ten thousand years in perfect health. You lack the drive to bring into existence the new and better. Why? You are a caveman from a quarter million years ago. But there are people, some who work for Musk (not necessarily Musk himself because he is greedy and goofy) that have the right motivation to make travel to the stars possible. Or Mars as a shorter term goal.

Go ahead. Insult me all you want.
It's not going to change the fact that neither of us will ever live long enough to see man step foot on Mars. Not a chance.

Tesla’s self-driving technology fails to detect children in the road, tests find
Professional test driver using Tesla’s Full Self-Driving mode repeatedly hit a child-sized mannequin in its path
Company chief “Elon Musk says Tesla’s Full Self-Driving software is ‘amazing’,” O’Dowd added. “It’s not. It’s a lethal threat to all Americans.
“Over 100,000 Tesla drivers are already using the car’s Full Self-Driving mode on public roads, putting children at great risk in communities across the country.”
O’Dowd argued that the test results show the need to prohibit self-driving cars until Tesla proves the vehicles “will not mow down children in crosswalks”.
At the company’s shareholder meeting earlier this month Musk said that Full Self-Driving has greatly improved, and he expected to make the software available by the end of the year to all owners.
Teslas were involved in more fatal accidents than all other manufacturers combined. Congratulations go to Elon Musk for all the people he has killed because of his hubris and, especially, to his lawyers who keep him from going bankrupt over all those deaths. Good job they have done avoiding consequences for crazy Elon Musk's decisions.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk sold 7.9 million shares of Tesla in recent days, raising $6.9 billion with the sales. The sales from Friday through Tuesday were disclosed in a series of filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission late Tuesday night. They mark the first sale of Tesla shares by Musk since April, when he sold 9.6 million shares, raising $8.5 billion at that time.

It is a smart and dishonest move for Musk to be selling. Tesla (TSLA 3.19%) has attracted its fair share of bears, and it's easy to see why. The company currently has a market cap of $845 billion, which is roughly equivalent to the valuation of the next 12 automakers combined. Experts disagree about if that can last. Musk knows it can't, which is why he is selling Tesla shares.

Quote:You think like a Trumptard. They aren't going into outer space because they're goddamn stupid, lazy and ignorant, but Trumptards compensate for those weaknesses by their delusions of grandeur. See Trump and his: "Only I can fix it." What a big fat idiot he is. Musk has more than a little Trumptard in him {see his grandiose self-delusions and his fatness) but he was smart to let his businesses be run by engineers who are NOT retarded like he is.
