Russian Troops Deserting Posts As Kyiv Makes Use of U.S. Weapons: Pentagon

The Pentagon has said in a statement that Russian morale seems to be running low in the ongoing Ukraine war, amid reports of soldiers at all levels deserting their posts or refusing to fight. It also said Kyiv is making "excellent use" of American-built Phoenix Ghost unmanned aerial systems, as well as other weapons it has sent to the besieged country.

Putin Meets With Top Officials as Russia Worries Over Devastating HIMARS

Western officials have touted the threat HIMARS poses to Moscow. American-made HIMARS can carry either six guided rockets with a range of around 40 miles, or a single Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), with a range of almost 200 miles.

A senior U.S. defense official told reporters on Friday that Ukraine had used HIMARS to destroy more than 100 "high value" Russian targets in recent weeks. The official said that among those targets were ammunition depots, long-range artillery positions, command posts, air-defense sites, and radar and communications nodes.

(Reuters) - A fire broke out overnight at an oil depot in Russian-controlled territory of eastern Ukraine after Ukrainian forces shelled the city of Donetsk, the head of the city administration said on Tuesday.
