The flat-earthers say they have data. The movie "Bending the Curve" shows them gathering their data. Then they interpret the data as proving the world is flat. It's funny how they botch the experiments without noticing their errors and their misconceptions about the physics of light or the physics of a ring laser gyroscope (which the flat-earthers were using to prove that the Earth does NOT rotate on an axis from the North Pole to the South Pole).

If you're saying that nearly everything we know is second-hand, you're right. Even what we THINK we see is highly processed by our brains already.

Leonardo da Vinci didn't see anything that a competent butcher didn't see. But they processed their vision with a view towards "how to cut more efficiently", while da Vinci looked at the human body in an entirely different way. So even "direct to experience" isn't as straightforward as one might think.

But it is possible to bang vastly different sources together and find the unreliable/ non-predictive sources. I can even draw on my background in the physical sciences to get to the nub. I think of explanations that encompass ALL of the data, and if possible make predictions and judge how far off the mark I am, or not.

You don't want to admit that it can be done bc your whole house of lies would collapse and you'd have to admit you're just a virtue-signalling, lying, twisted fuck of a malignancy.

Nobody died of Covid. Had they taken care of themselves before a novel cold virus was around, they would still be alive today. (And I can guaranty you that the amount of people world-wide who changed any bad behaviors after this two years is in the fractions of a percent range, so nothing was gained.)

And so, so many of those death counts were lies altogether, with people who had been diagnosed with Covid within 30 days of their completely unrelated death (Ex: vehicle accident) being counted as Covid to bump the numbers.

Had TPTB not lied through their teeth, screwed up the world economy and ultimately held people's jobs for ransom to force them to take an experimental vaccination that we're not going to know the actual effects of for decades, there wouldn't be record levels of distrust right now in all of them.

We, as in human beings, are going to feel the ripples from this long after a lot of us are dead.

Of course, you have nothing but your assertion to "prove" your point.

I look at other stats, and other nations.

If you look at the sheer numbers of deaths, irrespective of cause, there is a large spike right when the first two variants were sweeping the world. These deaths occurred well before any negative lockdown effects.

Not only that, it happened into multiple nations, like Iran. Something like a quarter of their high-level leaders keeled over. This supposedly happened because they all went to mosque together every Friday, and Iran is one of those cultures where men stand very close together. Literally "breathing each other's air".

Did this cause them to change their customs? Institute a long lockdown? As far as I know, they took their lumps but they also reported their dead.

A) First of all, "the world" didn't all respond that way There are a lot of nations with high Covid deaths that didn't lock down for extended periods of time and didn't impose vaccine mandates. Still, they had Covid deaths And they admit it.
