There are only a few caveats
1) ibuprofen -and ALL NSAIDs (aleve, meloxicam etc) - cause kidneys to hang onto salt and water. Bc they slows down your kidneys, you may experience temporary weight gain and swelling in your ankles, hands etc. It's not recommended for people whose kidneys are compromised. Continued use of a lot of NSAIDS (like, a kilogram of ibuprofen over a lifetime, like people with arthritis) can increase the risk of kidney failure. They are all - except aspirin- also associated with ulcers and cardiac events, and they thin your blood. So, not to be taken BEFORE surgery.
2) Acetaminophen (tylenol, paracetamol) shouldn't be taken by people who drink more than 3 drinks/day. It's processed by the liver, and mixing alcohol with can cause liver damage. Not that I expect that to be a problem for you, just for the sake of completeness.

Yeah, they gave me a paper with a list of does and don'ts on it. I told them I don't smoke or drink or drive. All I did that afternoon was grab a bus back up to where I live.
No worries. Like I said I didn't need anything last night and it doesn't look like I will need anything tonight either. Smooth sailing so far.

Hope you got yours done. I couldn't as all 4 washing machines were in use. So I tabled that chore for another day and got on with the other things I had to do.

An entire day devoted to organization and purging and I'm still not done.
At least I'm over the worst of it. Got through my screws, nails, nuts and bolts and have a good idea of my electrical inventory before starting the electric in the garage.
Got rid of a big ole' bag of trash and got plenty of junk metal on the side for the scrappers.
One more day and everything should be in its place, and I'll get most everything outside except for a small tool box and the paint and caulk that can't be out in the garage.

Well... I certainly won't be up there doing electric on Tuesday when it's 100 degrees.
Today is beautiful. Cloudy right now, but in the 60's with a high of 70. My plan is to get the entire garage organized and get anything out of the basement that's going out there put in its place. I'd like to think that will be easy now that I've done the worst parts of the organization, but I have forgotten what's still on my main work bench because it's been covered in so much crap for so long, so we'll see. Probably be at it until 9PM again tonight like I have been every day since last weekend.
I never did get around to cleaning the house on Friday. Rain didn't fall until after 4PM so I got the lawn mowed and spent the rest of the day into the night out in the garage.
Monday and Tuesday will be massive house cleaning days. Got my Dad coming by for the first time since February later this week and I'm pushing for my aunt to bring my Grandma over on the weekend before it starts getting too hot to do that. Looks like highs in the low 80's next weekend right now, but who knows what that will look like 5 days from now.
I really need to have people over more. I can really let this house go when I'm not having regular visitors.

The A/C should be fine. It's just the one window unit for a rather large house, but the basement stays comparatively cool on its own. I also lived in this house for about 9 years without any A/C, so I have a pretty high tolerance for it and any help the A/C manages should be more than enough to make sleeping easy. Really, the important thing for me is just removing the humidity, and I have had 5 gallon buckets fill rather quickly during the last few summers I had it installed. No buckets down there anymore now. I just put one of those resin things you put at the base of your downspouts under where the water drips and it keeps it from splashing all over the house and making a huge hole in the dirt. One day I'll get those rocks laid out and won't worry about it anymore.

I forgot I want to finish the wall repairs on the garage so I can use up those 2"x8" and give them a purpose instead of being slightly out of my way.
I'd better get moving if I want to get all that done. Otherwise I'll be moving that heavy work bench and the heavy top to a 2nd work bench I've never put together in the heat tomorrow and have sawdust sticking all over me.
I'd prefer not to tar and feather myself.

Today is supposed to be the coolest day for a while (83) but I have someplace to go this afternoon so I spent the morning walking the dog and planting vegetables and herbs. I have MOST of the plants that I bought from the nursery planted, but I need to dig up the remainder of the second veggie patch and most of the first one in order to get my seedlings and seeds and the rest planted.
It was hot work, and in the sun in the AM! So I'm going to save the rest of the prep and planting for late afternoon/ early evening. The only reason why I was working in the sun was bc of a schedule crunch.
Well, that part's done!
