Also, no more cool weather for the foreseeable future. Since I have to be nice to my kidneys, I'm going to change up my schedule. Instead of starting yardwork at 3:30-4:00 and dinner at 5-6, I'm going to start dinner at 3PM and yardwork at 5PM, when it's cooled down more.
And since I can't buy plants or set them in today, I'll work on the front yard instead.

Keep cool Sigs!
I've got a few more reasonably cool days ahead of me, but come Monday it's HOT HOT HOT!
The good news is unless some freak of nature occurs I think I might be able to say I've gone two years without any water in the basement this far into 2022.

Also managed to get back about 5 minutes before the elevator guys turned off the only working one, so they could make sure it is running properly. That was a relief.
Stopped at my local library as well and picked up "The Eternals". It just came in for me after being on hold for a bit.And I picked up the 4th season of "Vikings" too.
Congrats on the win, Brenda.

Thanks. It's been a while since I've not had to fight with the tiles to do anything.

First time my A/C is going to get a real test this week...
I'm going to have the thing just running 24/7.
90 on Monday, 100 on Tuesday, then high 80's for the rest of the 10 day forecast. (Real Feel on Tuesday is 105 because of humidity)
Yuck.
The little time I had to be up high in my garage working on the ladder was hot yesterday. Can't imagine what that's going to feel like next week if I'm working on electric up there.
Won't be mowing the lawn today either. T-storms on and off all day long.
Got some paperwork and some calls to make. Maybe I'll clean up around the house a bit after that.

Oh no...
I just looked at every day predicted on accuweather through August and only two days are expected to have a high under 80 degrees after tomorrow.
I sure hope that changes. What an awful summer that would be.

And that sounds like a good day overall!

And humid too?
Yech. That sucks.
Stay hydrated, and don't forget salt.

Thanks. It's really nice when the tiles just fall the right way for a change.

It was a good day. Had lunch at the Senior's centre as well and it was decent. Roast pork, veg and roasted potatoes with gravy. Very tasty.
