One of those memories right before your hopes and dreams were smashed to pieces? Cause seriously...that movie was not of the good. I ditched high school for a day to get tickets to the midnight screening and even with all that time and effor and sunburn involved I still couldn't convince myself it was good. I liked the lightsaber fight at the end at least.

It wasn't the highlight of my life, but I enjoyed it, and Attack of the Clones moreso. They're both leagues better than Return of the Jedi.

I stood in line for six hours to see episode 1 at 12:01am. I waited six weeks, and showd up late, to see episode 2 at 4:35pm. I might see episode 3 on DVD!

Well, I'm sorry for that. I guess I'm lucky in that I don't have much in the way of expectations for films. I saw Episode I opening day at 3 p.m., saw Episode II a day early, and will probably see Revenge of the Sith a good two weeks before opening day, and I'm going to love every second of it.

And after that? Bring on Serenity

If anything, pray there's a Serenity trailer on Star Wars. Can you imagine the impact a well-cut trailer would have on a film that grosses $90 million + opening weekend?

You've got to be kidding me. Neither are on the level of Return of the Jedi. The emporer from Return of the Jedi is still one of the best evil characters in the history of films. He delivered so many quotable lines and delivered them well. The relationships between the characters were also a huge leap over anything in Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones. The action scene at the Sarlac Pit was reinacted by children all across the globe. Who didn't want to try jumping off a diving board, spining around and grabing the end of the board to flip back up? Sorry I just cannot see your point of view here. Not at all.

'Jedi' is nothing more than an insipid New Hope-wannabe for the first 100 minutes of its running time. The Jabba scenes are embarassing, and anything on Endor that's not a speeder chase is either stupid or boring. The Vader/Emperor/Luke scenes definitely come alive, yes, but Menace and Clones are at least entertaining for a good chunk of their run times, something Ep. VI can't say. All Jedi has going for it are the scenes in the Emperor's Chamber - Clones in particular has Obi-Wan's entire clone discovery subplot, Anakin's slaughter of the Tusken raiders (and subsequent confession, which is easily the best piece of acting in the series), and a final 40 minutes that puts nearly anything outside of Empire to shame.

So no, I'm not kidding you. I thought Jedi was stupid when I was a kid and I still think the same about the bulk of it.

Poor down-syndrome child, your sense of humor is throwed-off. Really, you're funny. I say this because you must be retarded to say such things about the Star Wars Universe. I'm guessing you think Enterprise is the finest piece of Star Trek storytelling in the franchise. That or maybe you should try watching the movies sober.

Regardless, I'll be there within the first week of Sith's opening with expectations on the lowest possible setting so's as not to be disappointed.

However, when Serenity comes out, I'll be standing on point for the opening doors unless I've been arrested for covering the town in Serenity posters in order to peak all the mundanes' interests in the movie based on the show that nobody in my neck of the woods hardly ever heard of because Fox is also retarded and obviously big believers in the new Star Wars franchise.

Wow, you two have a lot in common.
