I doesn't matter.
If Democrats wanted to, they could codify the effects of Roe v Wade in Congress. Knowing full well it might be the last opportunity that they have in a generation to do so.
But they don't want to. They want to try to use this single issue to save the party in the elections.
It won't work. Not now.

They are mostly better on
border protection
2nd amendment,
don't follow the "woke" ideology,
budget-balancing
but they're
just as war- mongering
anti-choice
careless of the environment
just as anti-science as Dems (if not more so)
just as much in the pockets of the wealthy
On balance, it's hard to find a Republican who is head and shoulders above r their Dem rival. Trump was kind of a one-off.
ETA: Sorry for the garbled post. I had an emergency (not medical) and had to drop everything.

Ok, SOME Republicans are better than Democrats.
Republicans who voted against the Ukraine lend-lease bill
GOP Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.), Dan Bishop (N.C.), Warren Davidson (Ohio), Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Paul Gosar (Ariz.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), Thomas Massie (Ky.), Ralph Norman (S.C.), Scott Perry (Pa.) and Tom Tiffany (Wis.) voted against the bill, and Reps. Rick Allen (Wis.), Troy Nehls (Texas) and Chris Stewart (Utah) did not vote on it at all.

Oh. I know. I generally have no use or love for Republicans. It's been so long since they've held any real power though that some days it's easy to forget how miserable most of that bunch is too. The Trump years don't count because even when Republicans held the power that Democrats hold today politically, the Legacy Media and Social Media kept everything in Democrat control anyhow.

Not really. Only relative to how batshit insane Democrats have been about the issue since Obama was elected.

2nd amendment,
Not really. Now is the perfect time to carve 2nd amendment rights in stone in SCOTUS, but they're chasing Roe v Wade instead. Republicans generally have no more interest in an armed citizenry than Democrats do. They just pretend that they do.

That's a huge one, and one of the large reasons that Democrats are done in November.

budget-balancing
Not really. "Better" doesn't really mean anything when they still can't balance it.

Yeah. They're fucking awful too.

Honestly, we didn't deserve Trump.
I hope things go the right way in the future where history will show what a great President he was, but I have very little reason to believe that this would ever be the case.

That was my idea first. 4 years ago. (See my post history).
Who's coming in here and stealing my idea and grooming the Democrat voting idiots to do smart things?

Anti-Abortion Rep. Lauren Boebert Reportedly Had Two Abortions
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) reportedly had two abortions and worked as an unlicensed paid escort. During her escort work, one wealthy client in Aspen introduced her to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who subsequently encouraged Boebert to run for office.
