And to make the good news even better news, John DiMaggio who voiced Bender announced that he will also be returning to the show about a month after this article was written.
They've had several "final" episodes so far, and I think they've nailed them every time.
As long as they finish this return with something as good or even greater than the past final episodes, I will give them quite a bit of an allowance for the episodes leading up to it. They can't all be winners, but you have to stick the landing.
Both Groening and Cohen are attached, so I have high hopes for the return of Futurama.

I liked Futurama but never really loved it, some eps were very very good but the show was often hit and miss for me
PEak Simpsons might have been betetr whenever 'Peak Simpsons' was, everyone has a theory
As for scifi comedy well Firefly of course but also Galaxy Quest, Idiocracy, Young Frankenstein , Dark Star, Incredibles, Back to the Future, Starship Troopers, Flash Gordon etc

There is no bad episode of Futurama. Even the worst episode of the show is better than 95% of the stuff they put on TV today.

Try getting your average 20 to 30 year old to do that job today and I don't think your results are going to be any better than the AI.
