Not that it matters in the slightest to anybody here, but I did something recently that I had considered doing for years, and some recent events are what lead me to do it.
I know I've discussed how I was banned from YouTube before it was cool, despite the fact that I had no videos on my channel. About 6 months or so before Trump himself got a ban. I've also stated the reason why I thought it might have happened too... For making jokes that went against the current woke narrative.
Four things factored into my decision to file an appeal:
1. The crest and fall of the woke mob mentality.
2. Elon Musk/Twitter.
3. A recent H3 podcast on YouTube where Ethan Kline incited his 3 million followers to bomb an NRA convention, which only saw YouTube deleting the video and otherwise not even giving him a slap on the wrist.

4. The NEW appeal form didn't ask for any personal information. Back in 2020 after the ban they wanted every single detailed piece of my personal information including the soul of my first born child before filing an appeal.
So, I went ahead and typed in my email address in one field and rather than use the 1,000 character box to state my case I simply asked them to explain to me why I was banned since I never was told why the ban occurred in the first place, followed by a "thank you" and a "have a nice day".
Not even 20 minutes later, I was given full access to my account, including all of my subscriptions and playlists that I've gone without for nearly 2 years now. It happened so fast, in fact, that this message saying my account was reactivated came almost 30 minutes before I got a confirmation email stating that it could take "up to 2 business days to process... sometimes even longer depending on the circumstances".
Along with that, I received a xerox copied "apology" letter explaining that they found no evidence of a violation of their terms of service and that they "promise to do better" in the future.
So. I have my account back, but I will never get an answer as to why it was banned in the first place. There will be no accountability. No explanation whatsoever.
I'm curious if Google has been getting rid of their woke employees like Netflix has been doing, or if Google just sees the winds of change blowing and knows that it can't get away with the hypocrisy of banning accounts making jokes when they won't ban huge content creators who are inciting en-masse killing for "wrongthink" right during the middle of a school shooting news-cycle that is getting more airplay than Ukraine is right now.
