Frem, the more I read about Monsanto, the more I think they are the most evil corporation I've ever heard of. This Terminator seed business is beyond creepy. And the rash of suicides amongst Indian farmers? And the Monsanto v Schmeiser saga is disgusting.

Its funny this came up, as I had this same conversation with my mother last weekend.
She remarked that the govs in Europe seem to ban things until they are proven safe, while the US implements things until they are proven unsafe, with Canada somewhere inbetween.
The amazing thing is the control corporations have over the branches of of respective govs that are suppose to regulate industry.
Media, Science, Law is now only a matter of opinion... there are no longer absolutes such as truth.
