Democrats won't do anything about this because Republicans, who can stop anything so long as there are 41 GOP Senators

That's the convenient excuse that Democrats always use when they never do what you want them to do because they're NEVER going to do what you want them to do.

19th Century Democrats? Today's Democrats aren't even recognizable to 1980's Democrats.

The 19th Century Senators who were absolutely certain that slavery was protected by the Constitution could have forced slavery to legally continue, but some of them, but not all slave owning Senators, resigned from the Senate. For example, Senator Jefferson Davis resigned to become the President of the Confederacy. Jeff Davis could have ensured his side won the argument about slavery if he had stayed in the Senate. Modern day GOP Senators are aware of Jeff Davis' tactical error, having discussed the error since 1864, and they won't resign. It was very hot-headed and short-sighted for slave-owning Senators to withdraw just because Lincoln was elected. They certainly didn't withdraw when Biden was elected, having learned a lesson from Jeff Davis.

That reply has nothing to do with what you quoted.

Try again, or shut the fuck up.

Monthly rents skyrocket amid record inflation: "It's impossible to prepare for"

'It's not fun:' Soaring gas prices are walloping Americans but hitting lower-income hardest

Sky-high pump costs are imposing an especially big burden on low-income households who have been struggling to meet expenses.

“It’s a big hit to consumers, particularly low-income and moderate-income Americans,” says Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody’s analytics. “They’re already suffering from very high inflation. This just adds to it.”

Gas costs make up about 3.6% of income for Americans earning less than $30,000 a year, compared to 2.3% for those earning $50,000 to $150,000, a Labor Department survey shows.

And if lower-income Americans have to pay more for gas, Zandi asks, “What else aren’t they going to buy?”

We haven't even begun to see rock bottom. The Biden* Administration has ruined the American economy and all you're seeing right now are the first few cracks before the dam breaks.

Democrats aren't going to be in power for 2 generations after the next 3 years are finally over.

I just heard that hilarious TV spew from Bootynudge explaining how extravagant Pork Government spending will actually DECREASE the Federal Debt. He called Pork Government Spending "investment" to delude the gullible Libtards.

Zach Seward @zseward
Doritos removed 5 chips from each bag, Bounty trimmed its rolls by 3 sheets, and Wheat Thins determined that family size is now 2 oz smaller — all for the same price as before. Great look at how inflation often hides in the air pockets of emptier packaging.

Timothy Burke @bubbaprog
The company that makes Doritos made $42 billion in profit last year.
The company that makes Bounty toilet paper made $39 billion in profit last year. The company that makes Wheat Thins made $11 billion in profit last year.
This isn't inflation, it's corporations ripping you off.

Chicken Kiev at ALDI is 30 cents more expensive than it was a month ago before it disappeared only to be replaced with a version that is 5 ounces instead of 6 ounces.

Chicken Kiev at ALDI went up in price about as much as a used car did.

Democrats are going to lose in record numbers in November.

Too bad you're not in either the meat or oil businesses because then you'd make some serious money by understanding that it was you who raised your prices, not the Democrats.

Everyone loves the free market until oil companies leverage a war to make record profits by artificially inflating gas prices.

Oil company profits are at 7-year highs, they get $180 billion a year in government subsidies and they're issuing $88 billion in buybacks/dividends this year.

Do the math.

You must be mo betta smarter than everybody else. Because you know that you can pour unrefined oil into your gas tank, while rational folk are too stupid to know this. You must be getting close to triple digit IQ, as long as you double your current psychometric value.
