Putin Starting to Worry About His Strategy After Trump Calls Him Smart

MOSCOW (The Borowitz Report)—Vladimir Putin has become “deeply worried” about his strategy after learning that Donald J. Trump called him smart, Kremlin sources have revealed.
After Trump praised Putin Saturday night at the Conservative Political Action Conference, in Orlando, the Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, reluctantly shared a video of the disturbing moment with the Russian President.
“As Putin watched Trump call him smart, all the blood drained from his face,” a source said. “He was clearly shaken.”
After watching the video of Trump, Putin spent a sleepless night in consultation with Russian military and intelligence officials to determine where and how he had gone wrong.
“He’s rethinking everything now, and he’s in a very fragile state of mind,” the source said. “If it comes out that Don, Jr., or Eric thinks he’s smart, that could break him.”
Meanwhile, Donald J. Trump doubled down on his support for the Russian President, offering Putin advice on declaring Russia bankrupt.

Russia, China, and Iran are the New Axis powers. Between them they have everything they need (armies, nukes, oil revenues) to take over half the world, especially when the weak and woke West is "too civilized" to do a damn thing about it.
During 1945 when Russia was invading Germany from the East and then sacking Berlin, the Russian Army was actually encouraged by their officers to terrorize the civilian population. As many as 3 million German women and girls were brutalized and raped, often gang-raped. I wonder how CNN and the rest of their oh-so-progressive ilk will live with that reality playing out in front of their smug self-righteous retarded faces.
I reject your premise that we need bullies and corrupt bad guys to deal with their bullies and corrupt bad guys. I further reject your premise that Russia China and Iran can take over half the world unless they currently hold that much territory. Their expansionism will be checked. Especially now since they are seeing the consequences Russia is and are going to suffer.
So far, it’s said the Russians have lost 14 planes, 8 helicopters, 102 tanks, 536 BBM, armored combat vehicles, 15 heavy machine guns, and 1 BUK missile since Feb. 24, according to Ukraine's military. The Kremlin also lost over 3,500 soldiers. Remember, this does not include the sanctions, and China is watching.
They’re getting their clocks cleaned by an army with half their resources and training. China is even less capable of actual fighting. Iran and North Korea are little more than an irritant. As for America being to woke to fight back, think again.
Without firing a shot America and our allies have helped Ukraine shame the Russian army. If Putin wants he’ll commit the rest of his troops and shut the active war down but the Ukrainian army has sent a chilling message to Moscow. And it is prepared to fight as an insurgency going forward.
You want to talk about woke? Europe has been woke. Reminded why they stand united as NATO. It’s one of the biggest consequences of Russia’s behavior. NATO now has a huge new commitment to sustaining, improving and expanding.

Some Russian troops have "deliberately punched holes in their vehicles' gas tanks" as morale among the Russians declines, a senior US official said.
The troops appear to be self-sabotaging in order to avoid combat, the unnamed senior Pentagon official said, per The New York Times. The official added that many of the Russian troops are young and inexperienced in combat, and they are facing dwindling food and fuel resources.

Televangelist Pat Robertson came out of his retirement to say Russia’s president Vladimir Putin was “compelled by God” to invade Ukraine.
The televangelist added that Mr Putin’s attack on Ukraine was in preparation for a massive “end times” invasion of Israel.
The 91-year-old insisted this was all a part of an “end times” battle and that Mr Putin was just following God’s plan.
Mr Robertson said: “People say that Putin’s out of his mind. Yes, maybe so. But at the same time, he’s being compelled by God. He went into Ukraine but that wasn’t his goal. His goal was to move against Israel, ultimately.”
The ageing televangelist continued to say that Russia was using Ukraine as a “staging area” and God had put “hooks” in the Russian president’s “jaws” for a reason to draw him to this stage.
“Is Putin mad? Is Putin crazy? Perhaps. But God says I am going to put hooks in your jaws, I am gonna draw you into this… whether you like it or not,” he said.
Mr Robertson made an appearance on The 700 Club on the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) on Monday and claimed God had his plan that was being implemented via Mr Putin.
“All of those troops there are going to be coming against Israel in the latter days. And God says, ‘I am going to take care of it’,” he said.
He told the viewers to “read your Bible because it’s coming to pass”.
Meanwhile, Kyiv was rocked by massive explosions just hours after Russian and Ukrainian delegates held ceasefire negotiations in Belarus.
