Russia lost 480 troops on Tuesday alone, according to the latest estimates from Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
Indicative estimates of how Russia is faring in its war against Ukraine are regularly shared with the Ukrainian publication, the Kyiv Independent.
There have already been around 68,900 troops lost from Russia’s Armed Forces through the course of the war, according to Ukraine. Equipment has been seriously damaged too, with 2,628 tanks and 4,076 vehicles and fuel tanks lost over the last seven months.

A new update to Russian casualty figures
provided by the Ukrainian defence ministry
reports that the occupying forces are
continuing to suffer heavy
losses amid a stiff resistance by Ukraine's own military.
The estimates, which have not been
independently verified, claims that
alongside the 4,300 fatalities some
200 Russian soldiers have been taken captive
as prisoners of war, with hundreds more injured.
Ukraine also claims to have inflicted
significant damage to Russia's military
equipment, with the update estimating
that forces have destroyed 27 planes,
26 helicopters, 146 tanks and 706 other
armoured vehicles in the first three days of battle.
In addition a number of weapons systems
are also said to have been taken out of action,
as well as 60 tankers used for refuelling

I've heard reports that the invading force keeps running out of fuel, leaving these tanks and such stranded and vulnerable. Which allows the defenders to knock them out.
Possibly these armored assault vehicles could be commandeered and used by the defenders.
Anyhow, confirmations seem scarce.

What we do know is under Presdient Obama and VP Biden there was Russian military intervention in Ukraine 2014– present, it went quiet for a while during Trump and now its back. One attack from the East, Another from the Southern Naval Crimea region, One attack from the North at Belarus, and another Attack Coming from North East of Ukraine. Currently a lot of videos are leaking on twitter, Russian troops in Berdyansk, recovering dead/wounded in Irpen, Ukrainian tanks moving in Kiev, there are reports of lots of ground fighting and regions shifting back and forth between control to Ukraine and Russia and Ukraine and Russia again. America will probably sit this one out, putting US boots anywhere on the ground would be very unpopular politically and it is highly likely to lead to an escalation and/or spread of the hostilities, Biden will probably try some kind of support or more sanctions. It seems Germany which normally had an anti-war stance is changing its mind and will now send weapons to Uk
