One of my activist Canadian friends thinks that Justin Trudeau is just a deep state puppet who came to office with a smile, a nice butt, a reefer, and a "social justice" agenda.

Aside from this scandal

a) The Canadian government detained Huawei's second-in-command (the founder's daughter) at the request of the USA government on (apparently) bogus charges, causing a huge kerfuffle between Canada and China. I can't imagine how this benefits Canada; it sounds like Trudeau just bent over and grabbed his ankles.

b) I didn't realize this, but the head of the "Lima Group" ... the group that is pushing for regime change in Venezuela ... is Canada's FM Chrystia Freeland. My friend, who used to be a reporter and has contacts everywhere in the world, gave me an earful about Chrystia's grandfather was a Nazi-supporter in WWII Ukraine, and how he escaped justice by being "laundered" thru Germany post WWII.

Anyway, Justin Trudeau is a doody-head who just bends to the wishes of the globalists while disguising himself as a "progressive" with his "social justice" virtue signalling.

Jody Wilson-Raybould, the MP at the centre of the SNC-Lavalin affair, says she'll be running under the Liberal banner in October's general election.

"I have been confirmed as the LPC [Liberal Party of Canada] candidate for Vancouver Granville for the federal election 2019," Wilson-Raybould told CBC News in an email.

She would not comment further, and said she isn't conducting interviews right now.

Previously, she had said her intention was to remain in caucus and continue to serve as the representative for Vancouver Granville. She told the Vancouver Sun earlier that she had been confirmed as the Liberal candidate in that riding last year.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said he is still considering whether Wilson-Raybould can remain in the Liberal caucus after her explosive testimony Wednesday in front of the Commons justice committee, where she confirmed she had faced continuous pressure over four months from high-ranking government officials to interfere in the legal proceedings against Montreal engineering giant SNC-Lavalin.

"I haven't yet had the opportunity to review her entire testimony," Trudeau said earlier this week. "I will do that before making any further decisions."

I want to come out and defend him for the recent blackface incident. It was a different time and he was in college. He's just going to be brought down by people who have it too good and have nothing better to do with their time than to dig stuff up so they can yell and scream at somebody.

But at the same time, he was part of the catalyst for the cancel culture we see today. He's part of the reason we're here in the first place.

Maybe on the day where everybody is called out for their bullshit we can all go back to normal again, because everybody is guilty of bullshit.

These “scandals” aren’t scandals. And it is not a scandal to call Nazis, terrorists and racists terrorists-Nazis-racists even if these racist-terrorists-Nazis are too goddamn stupid to realize what they are. Famous Nazis like Adolph Eichmann were still convinced they were the heroic good guys, even as they were dropped through a trapdoor to hang. Some people are just too stupid to even begin comprehending what is wrong with themselves. Eichmann could probably have avoided execution if he would have shut his mouth for a minute about himself being completely right and everyone else wrong. Oh, well, that's how it's gotta be with crazy people, Canadian or German.
