I've been spending so much time following the Freedom Convoy these last few weeks and rooting for them that I've developed a sense of kinship with my neighbors up north that I've never felt before.

Canada's women's hockey team took gold by beating the USA today.
I don't have the score off hand.
ETA: Looked up the score and it was pretty close.

I heard somebody of note in Norway said that their goal this year is 32 medals, and they then said "three, two" to emphaisize that. Sounds pretty confident.
29 so far with 14 gold medals. One medal per day gets them there.
It's nice seeing China and Russia take such a beating. At least the US seems to have come back a bit from the initial few sad days in the meantime.
No matter what happens now at least the US and Canada get to walk away with at least 20 medals.

A couple of the ladies I play mah jong with were talking about the game at lunch. Sounds like it was a good one.
