Well, the US women's hockey team is out of the medal round.

Canada beat them today.

Honestly, I wasn't even aware that women played hockey until this Olympics, but I've never really been a fan of the winter Olympics anyhow.

Just looked and they've been doing it since 1998. That makes sense. I paid a lot more attention when I was a kid and that was the year after I graduated high school.

Huh. I thought the women started playing before '98. Shows you how much I remember.

Canada added to more medals today which our total to eight. Another silver and bronze.

If there's one good thing about being 68 and having to pee every five minutes, it's that I woke up last night at 12:15 am, just in time to watch Nathan Chen win the Gold for America in ice skating. He was amazing, doing 7 or 8 quads and not falling. The Japanese skater Hanyu who had won 2 Olympic Golds in a row did nothing but fall down. Kinda sad to see. And I saw the women's snowboarding half-pipe where American Chloe Kim won her 2nd Gold medal. Thanks to the man above for enlarged prostates!

Anyway:

Kinda curious how whenever a Chinese competitor is about to win Medal, all of the Olympians better than them are suddenly forced to take a covid test, and then the results are negative for covid, so then they are arrested and hauled off to concentration camp prison, and are starved for weeks, in order to make way for the rightful China Medalist.
When that fails, the highest level athletes are suddenly and mysteriously disqualified for wearing the exact same uniform as all of the prior heets.

I'm sure it is all fair and Sportsmanship.
