If you did want to calmly and rationally change the minds of your friends/neighbours/family and you're in actual physical contact with them, it's very easy. First of all you'll need some chloroform and a trephination kit. Next you'll need a map of the human mind (this one will do:
) and finally a pointed stick. Just remember when you've finished drilling the hole, only poke their brains when you're feeling calm and rational. Don't go charging in there.
