Today, with almost 1,600,000 cases and 100,000 deaths, there are people telling us COVID-19 is no big deal.

Mouthwash kills everything... that's in your mouth. Probably not a good way to kill off a virus because the next time you breathe you're just putting more in there.
Don't drink mouthwash.
It will get you fucked up, and it will fuck your liver up a lot quicker than alcohol intended for digestion, but it won't kill viruses and bacteria in your body since the chemical compounds in alcohol that would kill them are broken up before they'd get a chance to.
