hey,

Do you know of a site that has .wav files of all (or any!) of the great quotes from the various Firefly eps? I've found the site where you can download the actual eps, but right now what I want are just their voices saying those wonderful bits of dialog that make me smile or laugh out loud.

Im in the middle of making a firefly theams pack for my computer. when im done ill put it onto the net so anybody who wants can download it. does anybody have any good ideas off good quotes i can cut form the eppisodes.

www.wavesite.com has lots of quotes from everything up to Arial and is updated reguraly (if not often.)

I've love to be able to get these from you when you have some/all of them ready for posting. :)

I did try the wavesite.com as suggested by the other poster, but all I got was a commercial sales site. Hate when they do that do us.

For those who wanted the eps, they are at:

and can be viewed with the Real ONE player. I use my laptop to watch them and plug in some earphones to capture all the sounds. :)

I just rewatched the 2 hr premier tonight. from it, I would like:

Jayne: saw that comin' (after Mal decks the Dr the 2nd time)

Mal: 'huhn' (upon seeing River for the 1st time in the cryo-unit)

Mal: 'Still flying.'
Simon: doesn't sound like much.
Mal: It's enough.

Any of the crew saying simple words such as:
yes, no, shiny!, help,

I'm actually having trouble with the sounds. I downloaded a few eps, and for all of them, the sound doesn't match up with the picture and everyone is stuttering.

Is anyone having this problem?

I had a friend download the videos for me as he has a much faster connection rate than I do. He created the cd-rs for me, and we've both watched them. I haven't had any problems with sound or stuttering movement, and have been happily watching them ever since. 'Course, I was so thrilled to get them that I might just not be noticing. Sorry you're having difficulties.
