Quote:I expected you to withdraw from your endorsement of Rittenhouse killing people you hate, but you disappointed me by, instead, withdrawing into a pose of moral superiority looking down on "scum"/"shitbag". You lost your case even if Rittenhouse is declared Not Guilty on all charges by the jury.

Like I said, it was a melee, with guns.
It's all a clusterfuck. I would love to see the evidence for myself.
SECONDRATE: This case is easy to understand, unless you don't want to understand that guns are NOT for protection, but for killing. An AR-15 is NOT a Star Wars lightsaber, which can deflect bullets. The AR-15 is only for killing people, except some people who are incompetent it is only for making noises. How many people were shot? 3. How many shooters? 1. Is the jury going to hold the shooter responsible? Is the jury going to believe that Rittenhouse was there to protect himself?
It doesn't matterwhat he was there "for". What matters, at least as far as I understand, are the circumstances immediately before Rittenhouse fired his weapon.
It's one thing to shoot gooks running away from a helicopter ... you can take time to pick your targets and aim.
It's another to shoot when a mob is chasing you and one is pointing a weapon at you.
I know there are various legal limits on self defense in various states. Not sure of the applicable law in this state, but IMHO some of the limits that I've seen require far more cool-headedness than I would expect of the average civilian.
When faced with - literally- an enraged mob (a mob which, apparently, mistakenly believes that you just shot somebody) there is no hope of self defense unless you have a gun.
If Rittenhouse REALLY wanted to kill libtards, he would have positioned himself on a tall building, and started picking people off, like any sensible mass shooter. Yanno, like you shooting from a helicopter.
So instead of grinding on and on with your obsession about Rittenhouse's supposed motives ... and you have a consistent history of being wrong with your "mind reading" ... you should look at his actions.
The evidence. There's a lot of it. What does it say?
I don't know. I've only seen bits and pieces. You've prolly seen even less than I have.

Quote:Signym, it would be so much clearer why Rittenhouse was there if only Rittenhouse had 30 hand grenades rather than a magazine that holds 30 rounds. His defense lawyers would claim that the 30 grenades were not for killing but for "protection" by throwing a few grenades and letting the noise scare off any Libtards who have gotten too close that their nearness menaces poor little Kyle Rittenhouse. Too bad that hand grenades aren't covered by Supreme Court decisions: https://www.google.com/search?q=decision+legalizing+handguns

The only thing I can think of is that the prosecution, knowing that their case has fallen apart under the weight of video evidence, is aiming at another bite of the apple by having a mistrial declared because of prosecutorial misconduct.
Is that how Tucker is all the time?
I don't know. Is he on every day? I only listen occasionally. This was pointed ou to me.

Wisconsin state law clearly states that lawful gun owners can “generally open carry without a permit” as long as the person wielding the “dangerous weapon” is 18 or older. However, Rittenhouse’s defense attorney is arguing that his client was protected under a different “vague state law” that allows younger children to carry rifles for hunting.
Criminal defense attorneys who specialize in Wisconsin firearm law say it will be hard for the defense to get their perspective accepted.
“There are a variety of defenses to this charge; none of them are great or even rise to the level of good,” said Tom Grieve, a Milwaukee-based criminal defense attorney, who spoke to the Washington Post about the hunting law defense.
Legal Claim to Self Defense?
Some advocates have argued that Rittenhouse relinquished his right to self-defense by committing the crime of having carried a firearm while being under the age of 18.
But Racine-based attorney Patrick Cafferty who previously defended Jacob Blake in criminal court said that the legal basis for a self-defense argument “is sort of a moving target. It’s very fact-specific in each case.”
If somebody commits misdemeanor disorderly conduct by yelling at someone on the street, but then the person being yelled at retaliates by trying to stab the person yelling, the right to self-defense would be retained by the original aggressor who now is trying to avoid being stabbed, Cafferty told the Journal Times.
“It gets more complicated in the case of Rittenhouse,” Cafferty said.
He detailed that if Rittenhouse and his team can prove that he acted in self-defense in the killing of Rosenbaum, then the argument that he was defending himself from the other “mob” that was chasing him would have legs. However, if Rittenhouse is deemed to be the “aggressor in the situation” then he would not have the right to use deadly force.
“People have lost the right to defend themselves if they have provoked aggression against themselves,” Cafferty said.
In the shooting of Rosenbaum, “Rittenhouse is claiming ‘I didn’t commit a crime … Therefore (Rittenhouse argues) no one else had the right to disarm me,’” Cafferty said.
“That’s what this case comes down to.”

Signym, it is a crime to cross into another state, parade down the street with your illegal weapon in order to intimidate your political enemies, then kill two of them. I forget the third person, only losing his arm, also one of Rittenhouse's political enemies, contradicts Rittenhouse's story.

I see that the Trumptards are harassing the only survivor of Rittenhouse's murder spree because the survivor is their political enemy:
The shooting and its aftermath have changed Grosskreutz's life. The injury to his arm has left him unable to serve as a medic. He doesn't have the upper body strength for much of the outdoor recreation he loves. He's been threatened online, which is why he's reluctant to reveal some details about his family and where he went to school.
Others online have tried to smear his character by claiming he's a felon who wasn't legally allowed to possess the handgun he carried the night of the protest.
After three surgeries and a week in the hospital, Grosskreutz is home. He's in constant pain, but he won't take opiates; he's wary of them, and he's seen the damage they can do. It's not clear how much function he'll regain in his arm. He is grateful doctors left him with the option of amputating later, if it comes to that.

Rittenhouse is charged with a number of crimes.
Some laws he clearly violated. Others aren't so clear. But being guilty of one crime doesn't mean you're guilty of all of them. Jury could find guilty of some and not guilty of others.
As you posted, it is FACT SPECIFIC in each case. Do you have ALL of the relevant facts?
I doubt it. I know I don't. Therefore I can't reach a decision. I don't know "what started it all". I don't know all of the preceding events.
However, who was running away?
Rittenhouse.
Who was pursuing?
Not Rittenhouse.
That weighs rather heavily to me.

They are the vast majority and almost complete makeup of criminal possession of firearms and those who regularly use illegally purchased and owned firearms on each other.
More people died in Chicago yesterday than Kyle killed in self-defense over a year ago.
Which one are you still talking about?
Leftists don't need to send any money to Chicago. Kim Foxx lets all of them go even when they murder each other in the streets in daylight with dozens of witnesses everywhere.'
Everyone involved in BLM and Antifa riots, looting and arson need to GTFO the country.
They don't need to die. They just need to find a country that will tolerate them. Because we're done with them.
Empty out the prisons of all non-violent drug offenders and put everyone from BLM and Antifa in there.

Nobody is crying for that fucking retard.
He'll be fine. You only need one hand to flip burgers.
If you follow the prosecution’s case against Kyle Rittenhouse, the only logical end is the assertion that self-defense is almost never an option and visiting the scene of a riot is only okay if you are there to burn property.
