Grosskreutz, a paramedic from suburban Milwaukee, was in Kenosha on Aug. 25 last year offering medical services.
Grosskreutz had a gun in hand when he approached Rittenhouse but said he wasn't threatening Rittenhouse when he was shot.
"I think the most important thing to remember is that Kyle Rittenhouse was an active shooter. He murdered two men, and he attempted to murder me," Grosskreutz said.
Rittenhouse's defense, which is claiming self-defense, rested late Thursday afternoon.
"Well, I think any time you see your would-be murderer on the stand, it’s emotional," Grosskreutz said on ABC's "Good Morning America."

He didn't avoid the police. There is video and photographs of him walking right along side of them.
Just like there is video of him (a half-Latino minor) shooting white degenerate adults in self-defense, the surviving one of them admitting on the stand that he was shot in self-defense. That wasn't some bombshell revelation. That was a one-armed idiot finally fessing up and telling the truth so he doesn't loose his freedom for perjuring himself on top of his arm.

KENOSHA, Wis. (Reuters) - The judge in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse said on Friday he would instruct the jury they can consider the prosecution's argument that the teenager provoked an encounter with one of two men he fatally shot during protests in Wisconsin last year.
Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney James Kraus showed grainy drone video of the Rosenbaum shooting as he argued that Rittenhouse raised his AR-15-style rifle shortly before the encounter and pointed it at some people, including another man, Joshua Ziminski, who fired a gunshot in the air.
"The simple argument is there's plenty of evidence that the state has brought in that he raised his gun," Kraus said. "We have evidence of provocation."
There was also video of Rittenhouse actively chasing somebody down before the shooting took place. Who, it isn't clear. But he was an armed aggressor, not defensive.
Let it all come out ... and then let the jury decide.
