It was a melee, with guns.
But clearly one person was chasing Kyle and lunging for his weapon before being shot, and the other person raised his handgun at Kyle before being shot.
NEVER point your weapon at someone, especially if they also have a gun, unless you intend to shoot. You run the risk of being shot.

Once upon a time, when I lived in a very sketchy part of Buffalo in an upstairs attic (vacant downstairs) the downsairs was being broken into. I was home alone and afraid that the robber would come upstairs. At the time, we had an old Remington Nylon66 22 caliber rifle (just for plinking, really) and I grabbed the gun, thought about it, and put it down. Because it had no ammunition, but if the robber himself had a gun and saw my gun silhouette in the dark, they were likely to shoot first and then find out they'd made a mistake. Even then, I wasn't so stupid as to make empty threats with guns.
I miss that old Remington. It was a sraight-shooting, fun, plinking rifle. But the biggest thing I ever shot was petals off daisies bc, at one time, I was a good shot.

I've never once loaded my gun in my life, but any time I take it out to clean it or to show it to somebody I treat it as if somebody magically put a bullet in it.
It's the most dangerous tool that I own.
Maybe if these Leftists kids' parents actually taught their kids how to handle and respect firearms, people wouldn't die when they're treated like toys.

You should listen to this, especially the exerpts from a trial The judge (A Dem-appointed one BTW) was so pissed off at the prosecution he was spluttering.
The only thing I can think of is that the prosecution, knowing that their case has fallen apart under the weight of video evidence, is aiming at another bite of the apple by having a mistrial declared because of prosecutorial misconduct.

I posted this twice because I want to make the point that this Judge pretends he is neutral, but every step is his attempt to protect the little Trumptard Kyle Rittenhouse from being declared a murderer. If there are Trumptards on the jury, I know they will vote innocent because I asked Trumptards in Texas what they think. All of them think Rittenhouse is innocent. ALL OF THEM. Pretty predictable.

The judge was pissed because the prosecutor questioned Rittnehouse's RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT. It is a CONSITUTTIONAL right to remain silent, and guilt should NEVER be inferred.
