Most rankings about film, cinema, Box Office refer to US and Canada as one entity. Much of Hollywood is farmed out to Canada film industry, largely because Canadian actors have learned to switch from Canadian accent to American English. Few other places do so.

That's not to say that they farm out the acting gigs to Canadians over US citizens. I'm sure they do employ Canadians in acting gigs, but it's not like they're outsourcing all the acting jobs like they outsource all the service jobs to India.
What they're usually farming out to Canada and other places is filming locations. It's become prohibitively expensive to film nearly anywhere in America.

No. This is the new Superman in the comics.
The new movie Batman might end up bisexual though, even though nobody is talking about it yet. The new Batman franchise will have bisexual Tim Drake as Robin at some point.
I heard somebody mention somewhere that Tim Drake and Bruce Wayne had a fling in the comics, and he even hooked up with Superman in this "universe", although I haven't found anything online to confirm that. I haven't actually read a comic in over 20 years and I'm glad bowed out long before the woke bullshit hit the scene.
I guess the good news is that they're not marketing any woke agenda in the new Batman reboot trailers. Although that's not good news if they end up sticking it in there anyway.
Michael Keaton will always be my Batman. Nobody else has really interested me in that part since. I only watched the first two of the Nolan flicks and never got around to watching the third one.
The trailers for the new one look decent enough. I'll probably skip it though.

The funniest thing about all of it is that there probably couldn't be a show less deserving of all of the nonsense drama surrounding it.
Batwoman should never have gotten a 2nd season with the ratings it got. The Season 1 opener was fairly low, but by the end of the season half of that audience tuned out. Season 2 was even more embarrassing, yet they greenlit a 3rd season of a show that nobody watches.
You should be annoyed by this, Second. Firefly only got 1 season and had a much larger audience and a rabid fanbase. There are still people all around the country that meet up and do the Browncoat Ball and even post the pictures about it here.
Nobody is even going to remember that Batwoman was a show 20 years from now. Nobody.
Maybe Firefly would still be on the air today if Mal and Wash were constantly fucking each other, Jayne was a non-binary soy-guzzling demonkin and Kaylee walked Simon around on a leash while wearing a full gimp suit. Instead of smuggling things and looking to make a buck, their reason for traveling planet to planet was to visit all the "minority" planets so they can kiss the boots of everyone there and get whipped while they apologize to everyone for their privilege, and in between planetary visits Zoe and Book could continue to dole out the beatings and get their asses kissed.
And if you're wondering why I forgot about Inara, I didn't. Disney cancelled her for being a Prostitute.
Nobody would have watched it. But the Blue-Checkmark Twittiots would have loved it.

Fox TV premiered Firefly in the Friday Night Death Slot because it didn't like Joss. He was slow in delivering product and he didn't give Fox TV what they wanted. Fox TV couldn't tolerate Joss and his behavior. His product was great, but since when does Fox care about that? It is all about money. Fox TV saw Joss as just another talented asshole and showed him the door. Joss has been shown the exit door many times, including by his wife, and more recently by the producers of The Nevers, created by Joss. The truth does NOT lie somewhere in the middle about Joss nor about Ruby Rose.
