I'm still worried about him.
I know at one point he kind of mentally derailed (after making a number of unusual claims about his background, such as ... he was a tomato farmer who hailed from wealthy European family. He had been to all the best/worst clinics in Europe IIRC) before he disappeared.
I hope his disappearance is just a mental health vacation, not a permanent one.
If so, he's left a number of internet friends behind.

Been out of commission for a bit. was in the hospital, out now, in a recliner in my house. they have me hooked up to a heart monitor. no long getting covid inflammations, but now i have a serious heart problem, idk if that's covid related but probably, also related to that dexamethasone. they put me on metoprolol, i hope i can find a way out of this because i know medical care is the downward spiral

lol no it's fine, and no i didn't lose my mind and make unusual claims, those are pieces of conversation that are unrelated, i posted some things about tomatoes and did not endorse the theory that i had a tomato farm, more of an expanded garden. but it was like your garden rain thread, as for grandfather i don't even know how it came up, but it wasn't a weird obsession, it's just family. there's no wealth or power associated with that because they were jews, and european jews after 1945 didn't own squat. i probably mentioned it in reference to nazis, because they keep coming up. Or maybe pirate news' jews rant, yes, we were one of those jewish families, but it's meaningless now, especially since everyone's dead. just trying not to join them. but not doxing myself, though hard to not, i have a brick and mortar business, and that's hard to hide.

Just like Covid, I was never worried about DT either.
He's a troll, but a highly imaginative one that is quite entertaining to behold.
I really enjoyed our conversations going on 5 years ago. Then he up and left and came back and pretended none of those ever happened.
I trust his stories about as much as anything the NYT writes. But at least there is intelligence behind it.

I've been inconsistently here, but when I'm here I do check in to see of DT is still posting.
I'm glad to see you've been posting recently, DT. Take care of yourself! Post-COVID-19 can be a long haul - well, as they call it, long-COVID. So keep the long term in mind, most especially don't overdo. A short-term binge of effort isn't worth the long-term negatives.
And please post back here now and again, if nothing else to say HI! and let us know how you're getting on.

Your lucky stars seemed to be aligned.
I would love to hear updates on how your heart is progressing, as well as other problems.
Do you now think you had only covid, or something esle as well?
I used to have4 myself connected to heart monitor (for work), and was a bit surprised how often my heart skipped beats, the most I saw was 4 beats skipped. Less than 4 skipped beats, never sensed it in a physiological way.
I hope you get better.
After this 3rd time of covid, I had a very hard time getting my appetite back - still don't fully. But i just started forcing myself to eat more foods, bigger quantities, and variety. Remeber to get some yogurt in to kick start all that gut biotics that like4ly suffered. I found Sunkist soda and A&W Cream soda, in the plastic bottles with caps, worked like magic to help me keep food down. And jello with fruit in it.
