Anybody who has ever said the phrase "they ruined my childhood" when something they used to enjoy was co-opted by Marxists and/or people who get zero enjoyment out of life and want to ruin everything else for everybody else probably deserves to have their childhood ruined then.
Hollywood has already shown what the answer here is, both when they removed everything except for the 6 movies from Star Wars cannon, and then when they made Terminator: Dark Fate and ignored the existence of any Terminator flick after T2: Judgement Day.
Just pretend this new woke shit doesn't exist. 
If the only things that mattered in your childhood at all truly were Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Terminator, He-Man, Thundercats, et al...
Well, first off, you never actually became an adult and it really should be no surprise that you would whine on the internet that Hollywood ruined your childhood.
But to anybody who really feels that it did, just ignore it.
Everybody else is anyway. Nobody that they're making any of this for watches any of this shit either.

I recently saw a woke show. It has had over 20 seasons, apparently.
As a reality show, it represents all of America, and so there are no white folk, no apparent asian or Oriental, no Brit or obviously European, Scandanavian.
It seems nothing more than ghetto thug wench catfights, their cribs and gangsta dope Ebonics.
As a cross-section, it shows that America is now 100% ghetto.
It is called Big Brother.

I didn't even know they had Big Brother in America. I knew it was (possibly still is?) a show in the UK.
They had white people on that show.

Well... I'd say that I'd miss it, but I never even knew it existed in the first place.
My old man was saying that these days the only white guys you see in TV commercials are idiots and clowns... the brunt of the joke.
Glad I haven't watched TV commercials in about 15 years too. Maybe they know that the smart white guys haven't been watching TV commercials for a decade or two so they don't care about offending them.

Is anybody bothered that all this woke BS is discriminatory against Canadians?
Canadians have a bunch of good actors, many of whom are white. They are in some really good shows. But now it seems they are being phased out.
One advantage Canada had with entertainment was that they could blend right in with the whiteness of Jewish Hollywood, while having a great cost advantage. But now that may be working against them.
One of my favorite TV Series was Due South, which would never be allowed now.

Good luck DC. All of your best talent along with Marvel's have gone their own way and are not outselling everything you put out combined.
I fully expect WB to announce the closing down of the DC offices along with Disney announcing the closing of Marvel's by 2025.
