An official event at the Yale School of Medicine featured a New York-based psychiatrist telling students she fantasizes about "unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way."

Disturbingly the talk entitled "The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind" was held as part of the continuing program, the Child Study Center Grand rounds. The event was held in April, but audio only late this week of New York-based Dr. Aruna Khilanani gleefully musing about murdering white people became available and was posted on journalist Bari Weiss's Substack.

The presentation by Khilaniani, who is described in a separate interview as a "Forensic Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst, with expertise in violence, racism, and marginalized identities" has since gone viral and earned widespread condemnation for its brazen and overt racism, which includes expressing a desire to commit genocide.

But really, how is this any different than TWITCHY, except that this woman speaks from a position of presumed authority?

We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. It’s just like sort of not a good idea.

Following the talk, Yale made a recording available internally to students and faculty but added a warning saying that the talk contained "'profanity and imagery for violence."

Khilanani posted several videos on TikTok highlighting the fact that Yale had not released a recording of the talk to the public and accusing the university of engaging in "suppression" of the material.

"Yo, white amnesia is an amazing thing," Khilanani said in one of the interviews.

In her interview with Herzog, Khilanani said Yale didn't raise concerns about her talk for a "long period of time."

Stephen King, same as Khilanani, would be disappointed if his violent fantasies were too violent for print or video.

Getting back to my comparison of King and Khilanani -- Stephen King's shows are too violent and weird for me. Use too many obscenities. The same is true for the show put on at Yale by Dr. Aruna Khilanani.

Stephen King's best was Salem's Lot (CBS, 1979)
“One of those stomach-churning, white-knuckle fright films that masterfully sets us up, shakes us around and leaves us jumping at our own shadows.” I think Dr. Aruna Khilanani was attempting the same in that Yale speech, but didn't succeed with every critic.

SECONDRATE, Stephen King writes for entertainment. Nobody in his or her right mind would suggest that anyone follow King's stories as a blueprint for their lives.

Dr. Aruna Khilanani was speaking OFFICIALLY as part of a Yale Program in Child Development, and is giving advice on how people of color should manage themselves emotionally and psychiatrically.

Only a twisted fuck would conflate the two.
