It was criminally incompetent misbehavior by Trump, but America has seen criminally incompetent Presidents before who never were charged with a crime. The Presidents before and after Lincoln, James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson, come to the attention of historians as negligent politicians, but they weren't charged. After leaving office, nothing happened to Buchanan or Johnson other than a bad reputation and a low rank given to them by historians.

I just checked and found Trump, Buchanan and Johnson are the worst three Presidents:

If Trump actually starts another Civil War with his claims of a stolen election, his reputation will rise with a certain kind of American. I'm pretty sure that Trumptards would put up statues to him. Trumptards are the same people who want to protect statues to Confederates, traitors to America, so why not Trump statues for them to worship at?

In China, there was a giant gold Mao statue that was knocked down. America deserves a giant Trump statue, painted gold, to knock down. Building the Trump monument will please some and demolishing it will please others. Its a win/win and something to fight over since the man Trump is not going to get knocked down like he should.

I am following what is being reported on Trump. What crimes they may be able to charge him with. We both know he has committed many. Good for you but I do not care to have a philosophical discussion about past presidents and extraneous foreign leaders every time I post about current events. Especially since your opinion concerning Trump is consistently, why bother.

You responded to my post by making a charge of wrongdoing or fault toward other persons which is whataboutism. You are free to continue doing so but you should know I mostly ignore what follows the first few sentences in your posts.

I read what I post and that's enough. I offer my opinion in a few sentences, if at all. I also do not post large amounts of articles. Only enough for people to get the gist of it. Then if they chose to follow the link they can read it for themselves.

I heard the same things 6ix is saying about Democrats from my father's father, who was a Klansman and a small, unsuccessful farmer, my mother's father, who was broken-down Southern aristocracy and an unsuccessful shoe salesman, and my father, who was a Burger King manager. Not surprisingly, my ancestors with the belief that Democrats are Commies did NOT do well. They struggled to stay in the middle class, but in my experience with family and Texas Trumptards, that's what happens when false political ideas control you. False ideas will keep you struggling for life. (By the way, none of my ancestors ever understood what they were doing wrong; they believed until death that their financial problems were all caused by the 20th Century's equivalent of 21st Century Libtards. It's depressing to know how easily they could have improved their fortunes, but they would have to first give up their false beliefs. They won't do it. They couldn't even imagine doing it.)

If you want victory in war or business, attack your enemy where he is weakest, not where he is strongest. Attacking what Trump did as President, and you are attacking him where he is strong and has the most supporters. At least one supporter will end up on any jury that is voting to convict. Even one Trumptard on the jury makes it impossible to convict Trump, but there is an area where there will be no jury: Trump's tax cheating. It is Trump v. IRS. He will lose and there will be no hidden Trumptard on the jury voting not to convict. Taking away Trump's money is the quickest and surest path to victory.

As President, Trump did a thousand uniquely criminal acts, one after another, all of those acts as part of his Presidential duties. Even when he was obstructing justice during the Mueller investigation, a legal argument could be made that it was Trump's duty to obstruct what his attorneys will claim was a strictly partisan and political investigation of his Presidency. The criminal courts cannot handle cases where jurors are told it is political. The jury will let Trump go free. But there is one thing Trump has done at least 40 times over the last 40 years and there is no way to convince a jury that it is political: Trump's yearly tax returns.

Trump's lawyers might make the same argument about taxes as they would with Trump's obstruction of justice as being politics, not being criminal, but Trump's lawyers won't be able to make that believable, like they could with obstruction of justice or interfering with counting votes in Georgia or Trump's speech on January 6th. Trump can't use the excuse that tax cheating, which Trump did before being elected, is politics. Nobody will believe Trump's tax cheating is connected to Trump's presidential duties. Trump will get convicted for sure. Maybe he will ALSO get convicted for at least one of the thousand other criminal acts. Who knows? But tax cheating is guaranteed to put Trump in jail.
