Not that I give weight to a single opinion anybody at Newsmax has about anything, but this is also a thing in Illinois to follow next year...
GOP Pickup Likely in Ill-17

Poor Illinois Democrats already lost a house seat after the Census too.
Throw all the bums out.

More crap opinions from Newsmax, but another interesting prospect...
RNC's Ronna McDaniel for Michigan Governor?

Whitmer is trash, but when I saw McDaniel shared a last name with Mitt Romney my first instinct was the last thing we need is another Romney in power.
But it sounds like Uncle Mitt doesn't care much for his niece, so I'm on board.
Good luck Michigan.

Say it ain't so, CNN...
(05/04/2021): It just got harder for Democrats to hold their House majority in 2022

Combine it all and Democrats were going to have a hard time holding their majority under the best of circumstances. When you factor in the weight of history and their recent series of problematic retirements (with more likely to come!), the majority looks very, very imperiled.

(05/04/2021): Retirements, redistricting and Texas surprise squeeze House Democratic majority

The special election lockout in Texas, coupled with retirement and redistricting news, highlighted just how hard 2022 will be for House Democrats.
Democrats have jumped to argue that the latest House special election outside Fort Worth, Texas — where none of their candidates managed to make the runoff — is no harbinger for next year’s midterms.
The party’s top candidate in that race fears otherwise.
“It's not a good omen. It's not a good portend for 2022 that we got shut out,” said Jana Lynne Sanchez, who failed to make the runoff by just 354 votes amid a split Democratic field and, more importantly, surprisingly low turnout. “I'm sounding the alarm bell today, and I'm saying we really have to work hard.”
By "work hard", I can only assume she means they need to double down.
I would STRONGLY advise against that.

I might just have to move to Florida...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an election bill Thursday that requires voter ID and bans ballot harvesting and mass mail-in balloting.
That, and it might be the only state I can work in after our government lets Corporations decide that the unvaccinated can't work or eat.

Pollster Frank Luntz says Trump's 'big lie' may cost Republicans the House in 2022
Donald Trump could ruin the GOP's chances at retaking the House in 2022, according to Frank Luntz. The longtime pollster said Trump's "big lie" could hurt turnout among conservatives. "What Donald Trump is saying is actually telling people it's not worth it to vote," Luntz said.

Frank Luntz and Ted are the only two people in America that think Dems are going to maintain the house.

Ending the filibuster is ONLY good for Democrats if they maintain a majority until the end of time.
Are you gullible? Or did you just forget to point out that the Warnock Senate Seat is good for 2 years?

Mid-Term Elections 2021
So, what is this about? I am not all that familiar with the details of Russian Elections.
The State Duma is currently in it's 7th Convocation, since 2016. And expiring this year, when a new Election (in 2021) will be held for the 8th Convocation - to last another 5 years.
President was last elected in 2018, his term to expire in 2024. He was only legally allowed to run for re-election once, which was 2018, I guess.
So, that would seem to mean that this year, in 2021, is the Mid-Terms for Russia Elections.
Now it all makes more sense.
Does anybody know of any other nation which has "Mid-term" Elections in 2021?
This means that, mid-thread, the topic changed from Russian Elections, to a Troll Thread on Election in USA.
Prior to this thread's (64267) creation by the Troll, the on topic threads were:

Why would I bother pointing that out? And why would you assume I ever swallow any of Ted's bullshit?
