Maybe you've been following this more than I have ... but who, SPECIFICALLY, by name, countermanded Trump's order to withdraw troops from Syria? Because once Trump declares a withdrawal, isn't it a valid order that the military has to follow? So, why didn't the military withdraw? Why did troops stay in place despite Trump's order? Who in the chain of command was insubordinate?

Jeffrey was the Special Presidential Envoy to the Global Coalition.
I don't have the details, but in these times of U.S. Military Commands being handed over to Globalists (established under BJ Clinton), the Chain-of-Command does not go directly through to The President - as it always did prior to Clinton.
Now, entire Commands in a combat theater are under the thumb of Politicians and their ilk from other countries - and Jeffrey was apparently the lead weasel in charge of this group, commanding the US forces inside Syria.

I'm actually quite interested right now in who is behind the massive house buying spree. I'm not buying that it's rich Americans with too much money to spend.
