I have enjoyed Jon Favreau's work. He directed Zathura.

Between failed reboots, Covid killing their park revenue, and their streaming movie failures, Disney's been hemorrhaging money.
I'm thinking somebody at the top might have decided that with all the other negative forces on the market at the moment, they don't have the freedom they used to for pushing agendas and alienating fans.
But that's only if the rumors are true. Who knows...
I don't watch much of Favreau's new stuff since it's things I wouldn't be interested in anyway, but I liked his old stuff like Swingers. Zathura was pretty good.

I will say this though...
If they decide to bring back Gina Carano after all of this bullshit and offer her enough that she doesn't just laugh in her face, I will give the Mandalorian a shot just on principle.
I never would have watched it before any of this, and I never would have even known her name either.
Bill Burr having a role in it is also a plus. That doesn't even make any sense, but it's awesome.

It seems all of this stuff is the only reason why Star Wars is even on my radar anymore these days. I lost interest way before woke culture infected everything.
It would be nice to see her get the boot. But it would be even nicer if corporations went back to being neutral and reigning in their college "educated" employees from the ceaseless deluge of hate bait online.

yep...there's been a number of series shows that can't seem to get 10 mins into their episode without pausing/interrupting the entire plot just to inject an LGBT or BLM, etc moment into the series. They shove it into the storyline without any real reason, so it sticks out all the worse...and that's about when I reach for the remote and go someplace else, never looking back. multi-racial characters , working/meshing together naturally, with the challenges that can arise..ok..fine. A strong woman personna?..great. I want my daughters/grandaughters to be their own persons. But if the series/movie directors have to shove it out there in a way that's just so unnatural...well, maybe that's cause it's just not "natural" to begin with.

I have not been watching much of lame TV, mostly just Debris, Manifest (now in the first hour of prime time, Thurs), Good Doctor, Chicago PD, Rookie, FBI:MW, The Listener, Clarice...
But I have noticed from clips that white male actors must be getting unemployed more. It seems that white women on TV are only allowed to date or marry black males, or neurotic jewish nebishes, or maybe women.
Doesn't seem as much black women being required to date white males - maybe that is just to far-reaching.
Although, it does still seem that gay men are the only resource the white women have to ask how to appear attractive to heterosexual men....the definition of Logic Fail.
I suppose these are all examples of Wokeness. Ana I have no withdrawal from Woke-a-Cola.
I am still confused about Asian women outraged at being "sexualized." Are not most women, females, and even all types of humans, interested in looking or appearing attractive? So does this mean that Asian women have an immunity of any desire to appear attractive?
I don't understand this. Is this akin to women wearing "low cut" navel-baring dresses or "boob shirts" to display/promote their cleavage/funbags just so they can complain about men looking at their boobs?

Rumor mill now is that Kathleen Kennedy might have sealed her fate by announcing that she hired a the feminist icon Phoebe Waller-hyphen-Something who neutered James Bond in the new Bond flick to play the female lead in Indy 5. She made this announcement after she was told the project was on hiatus and not to talk about it.
