Well, it is the end of March and I see no thread about this yet.
I saw last night an ad for the film Nobody, and I looked at my local cinema and saw a bunch of films showing which I had not seen before, nor seen available before. Including Nobody.
So that looks like what I'll be seeing next - looks like it night be a sort of John Wick type story.
I do also hope to see Free Guy, and perhaps Quiet Place 2 and Top Gun Maverick.
Others mentioned in this thread:
Ghostbusters 3
The Many Saints of Newark
Suicide Squad 2.0 (Nathan)
For some, Godzilla Vs. Kong
Wrath of Man
No Time To Die (James Bond) - October
Nobody
Old
Forever Purge
Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard
Remenisce
Lisey's Story
Last Night in Soho - November
Jungle Cruise
Comeback Trail
Escape Room

I'm not really following much in with movies, catching up more on old books.
Not sure how much I will see, maybe nothing wanted to hope to see the usual scifi or documentary or thriller thing.
Dune I expected it would be ok, a scifi book movie franchise remake looked ok, Into Thin Air a documentary think the guys are Aus or NZ about the missing Malaysia Aircraft...maybe something French or German like Wood and Water, something crazy Japan or S.Korea like Space Sweepers ... I might have bought a ticket to some B-movie crap like 'Army of the Dead' yeah i know its stupid its horror scifi and zombies and its probably dumb Zack Snyder crap but I would maybe have watched it in the cinema. There was Exodus and Voyagers Maybe I would have watched some Marvel DC superhero thing like Venom, Black Adam, Black Widow, The Batman remake or Morbius.
'Nomadland' looked good a woman who lost it all with a recession, a laid-off older woman almost homeless?
Most upcoming films I took notice of got delayed
The expensive stuff is all going to flop, major box office bombs and turkeys coming in 2021 maybe 2022, Hollywood will have lost big money. Cats lost 70 million and that was 2019, the New Terminator and Robinhood back then lost probably 100 Million each, the new Wonder Woman Lost 100 Million in 2019 while the other Wonder Woman made $800 million
a lot more film will be delayed multiple times with Corona and eventually cancelled due to the COVID pandemic
TopGun is one I would have watched, maybe GhostBusters also
Not sure if Cinema will be open
A big Tv and Netflix, iTunes, Apple, HBO or Hulu it might be

Ghosbusters, maybe.
Free Guy - Ryan is god.
Oh, wait... That You Must-See for 2021?
No. None that I MUST see.

Have you seen anything for "The Suicide Squad"?
It looks like they're doing a full 180 and going full Shazam with it now.
If nothing else, it should be another hilarious entry for an outfit that should just finally give up the idea that they're ever going to make a successful movie franchise like Marvel did. It's never going to happen. They even pissed away all the good will of Wonder Woman with whatever that sequel was.

Having not seen Shazam yet, I don't know what ' the full Shazam ' is . I know it's rated R, so ... more like the full Deadpool ?
A couple of trailers are out now, btw, so ... that's all I know.

Wow? The Suicide Squad got an R rating? I think they REALLY had to fight for that, at least from what I've seen of the movie so far.
I actually liked Shazam, so that's not necessarily an insult. Though I don't care much for Gunn himself and his opinions, I also think that Guardians of the Galaxy was well above average for comic book movies as well. It's actually got a real shot of being decent.
My commentary on the movie was really just a knock on the leadership at DC that can't seem to get their shit together, whether it's far too much studio interference on projects, hiring woke activists and giving them far too much control, or letting Zach Snyder turn DC into a dark, dreary and depressing hellscape. Tim Burton was able to pull this off very well with the first two Batman movies, but IMO Snyder is an extremely overrated director and should probably quit while he's ahead.
My disclaimer here should be that with the exceptions of Deadpool and the first Guardians, I hate movies from the modern era of the Marvel Cinematic universe. With rare exception they're so formulaic and cynical that you're basically just watching the same color by numbers idea play out over and over again with new wallpaper. Very, very expensive wallpaper.
I miss the days when big studio movies weren't expected to have over 100 million dollar budgets and they took a lot more chances that they can't take when they feel like it was a failure if they didn't bank a billion bucks at the box office.
When you see it Rap, let me know what you thought. I wouldn't have seen Joker without your recommendation, and you seem to really like the few Marvel movies that I enjoyed.

I’ve only heard good things about Shazam. I’ll get to it, I’m sure.
Mainly it’s that damn 70’s morning show that I need to scrub from my memory banks.

I had to think a minute what you meant by the 70's morning show... I don't think I've ever seen a rerun of that, and it was a bit before my time.
It's possible I liked it more than I should have since it was the first movie I'd seen in a theater since Snakes on a Plane.
Shazam is definitely a kid's movie, so don't expect anything too groundbreaking. It's no Joker, but it was fun and I know I would have loved it when I was a kid.
Zachery Levi was a great casting for the role.
